It is the principal city of the LaFollette, Tennessee Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Campbell County, and is a component of the Knoxville-Sevierville-La Follette Combined Statistical Area. While the city's official spelling is one word ("LaFollette")—after its founders, Harvey Marion LaFollette and his younger brother Grant LaFollette—several federal agencies spell the city's name with two words ("La Follette").

The theme is pirates. The kitchen staff practices safe food handling but other than that, this place is run down. The food menu needs updating, staff needs to step up the pace, needs to be renovated. If your looking to party, run-down building, slow service and poor quality expensive food is your gig, this is the place to be.

Love kfc's grilled chicken so we stopped to get 3 breasts. Each time I've been there, I've been asked if I would mind waiting - the chicken still cooking. This time we were told 9 minutes and to pull forward. After 20 minutes, I went inside. They had forgotten about my order and had given 2 of the breasts away and said it would be 20 more minutes. Very frustrating - I had to settle for original.They need to plan better for the grilled chicken and be more aware of cars waiting.

We had a family reunion at the park on Saturday but the day before we meet here for lunch. There were 6 of us and we sat outside and we all ordered something different. I got the catfish sandwich and sweet tea. Both were excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was good and the waitress was friendly. Next time will eat inside so I can enjoy the view from the big windows facing the lake. Will be back.Thankyou so much for the review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us. The window tables are definitely a must! Hope to see you again soon.

Eating lunch with hubby on a Saturday, around 1:30,restaurant not busy . We were 3rd couple in establishment, 2 waitresses running around unorganized. Pros: place was clean, door greeter was quick to provide table,and drinks were brought out quickly. Cons:food overpriced for the quality-barbeque sandwich tasted like it was frozen then microed, had chips which were bottom of the bag and all broken into Tiny pieces.my hubby had philly steak sandwich and was supposed to get french fries and received chips instead.will not be going back

We love going early in the morning and watching that woman make the biscuits. She definitely has it down to an art form. They are always tender and Flaky. They have the best staff Always greeting you with a smile. It will be packed in the morning but it is oh so worth the wait.

This was my first trip to Katie"s, we had been working in the yard most of the day so I was very hungry when I got there. I chose the chopped steak dinner and I wasn't disappointed, they added onions and peppers to the steak and it was delicious. I tried some of their corn nuggets too, they were very good. Our server was very friendly and did a wonderful job of taking care of us. When it was time to pay the bill I was pleasantly surprised at the cost, $31 for four of us. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their cheeseburger, I hear they are very good.

I had heard great things about this location and while with some friends and family we decided to visit this restaurant/bar while at the marina. I was very disappointed at the staff's lack of service and many times had to wait a long time just get another drink or food item. The staff was friendly though.
