Find out what American restaurants to try in Keauhou. Some of the best snorkeling spots in Hawaii are near Keauhou, a town on the west coast of Hawaii's Big Island. The local beaches – which tend to be less busy than those on the Kona coast – also offer swimming, boating, fishing and scuba diving. If it's not a beach day, you can head to the Keauhou Garden of the Kamehamas and take a stroll through the native plants or check out the cultural attractions, restaurants and shops of the Kailua-Kona area.

The buffet is the only option and is $26 per person. The omelet station was the best part. The crumbles of bacon left at 9:30 were pathetic. I wish they had alternative milk options besides soy.

The server was great & so are the poolside drinks, but the food is just horrible. Very small menu so we were expecting alright food, especially since itâs one of the only places you can eat while at the Sheraton. As shown in the picture, the burger was almost inedible due to all the grease pouring out. I ordered a âside house saladâ instead of fries... I kid you not and as shown below, they gave me some lettuce and chopped up tomatoes. I thought I was being punkâd. My boyfriend got the fries with his burger and they just tasted freezer burnt.

My husband and I were driving around HI exploring when we fortuitously stumbled upon this restaurant in the tiny town of Kainaliu. When walking in it did have posted that they were voted best burger in HI and ascertined that they had other locations. We split both a burger and blue marlin fish and chips and OLA beer.. Everything was fantastic including our server. The Knights

What a cracker of an eatery. Everything we had was delicious, especially the seafood pasta which is easy to mangle in lesser hands,. The owners young children took delight in serving the tables and good on them for learning responsibilities in this regard. This place as far as we can tell is the absolute stand out in the area around Captain Cook. We heartily agree with everyone who has rated this highly. It is wise to book as it is very popular, but we walked up and got an inside table on a week night in summer. Plenty of car parking off street.

We pride ourselves in serving great BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Burgers, Home Made Honey BBQ Sauce, and Kona Coffee Steak Rubs. Order our famous 23 hour slow Roasted Prime Rib For the holidays or any occasion (need a 2 day notice) Come sit and dine in our outdoor
Several visits to The Big Island and several visits to Ali'i Marketplace and somehow this was the first visit to TJ's...it definitely won't be the last. We had a half rack of ribs and a Kona burger and both were amazing. The burger was double the size I expected, and the coffee rub was super flavorful. I am not normally a rib person, but they were fall off the bone and the sauce was delicious! The people running the place are friendly and the food is one of the best values in the area, grab a table on the lawn and get ready for greatness while they make your food to order, it's worth the wait! Aloha, thank you so much for the nice review, we are happy that you enjoyed your time with us, we hope to see you again. Enjoy your time in HawaiiMahaloTim and JoannaTJ'S BBQ

We stayed at the resort and we stopped here for lunch one day while at the pool We were both pleasantly surprised. We both had a salad , mine was a steak salad and my wife a spinach one. They were excellent, very fresh and tasty. So good we went back another day later in the week and my wife had the spinach salad again and I had a chicken Caesar salad. Again they were great. We actually went back one more time during our week long stay and had the fish sandwiches which again were very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is rare to have a place that is part of the resort be this good, usually it is almost a chain type food atmosphere. This place is not that at all. Definitely I recommend.

Family run restaurant serving ono grinds on the Big Island. Everything is made onsite using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Open for lunch and dinner, also serve beer & wine which can be enjoyed in our awesome outdoor seating.
Rebel Kitchen is a great bar, with lovely food. We visited on the way back from captain cook, and it was so delicious we went back again the next day! The blackened Ono, the shrimp and bacon sandwich, the cheesesteak, the grilled veggie burger, the creamy veggie pasta, and the garlic pepperoni fries were all delicious. They are freshly cooked and reasonably priced too. The waitress was very friendly, and remembered us the next day! You can buy the cool t shirts that the staff wear, a great souvenir! Would definitely recommend.

Rays on the Bay Restaurant is known for its fresh seafood, farm-to-table cooking, handmade artisan pizzas, local island favorites and the coldest beer on the Big Island. Guests will enjoy warm and welcoming service, ocean front views, live entertainment 7
The night of our wedding, my new wife and I went for drinks and snacks at Rays. Dan the bartender was extremely hospitable showing his superb customer service skills by remembering all the guests names and making sure everyone at the bar was well attended to. We ordered a few drinks, poke, and chowder which were reasonably priced for a hotel bar. It was a delightful way to end our elopement day! Thanks Dan!

A former Wendy's restaurant completely redone.
Sam Choy is a legend in Hawaii. But he is not in the kitchen of this restaurant. The description of the food was tempting, but it just did not quite deliver. We had the fresh fish, and it was dry.My suggestion. Go for Sunset. The view is the BEST. They do great cocktails. The pupu menu is standard but well done ( calamari was great!)And as other reviews note, the staff is great. Friendly and professional
