We waited for a long time to get two bowls of oatmeal. The waiter said something about it taking a long time in the morning to boil the water. Odd! The oatmeal was good once it arrived.

Peteâs Place has been in Oakhurst a long time and every time Iâve been there, it does not disappoint.We had breakfast there this time. We had a 5 egg omelette with ham and cheese. More than enough for 2. Delicious! They serve breakfast till noon, lunch and dinner till 3 pm. When they close.

Visited during a recent trip to Yosemite, and I was very impressed. The special was recommended by the staff - a large baked sweet potato filled with cheese, green onions and a choice of meat (I chose the pulled pork). Sometimes sweet potato can be a little overwhelming, but I have to say this was the best meal I've had at a BBQ place! Would definitely recommend to others, and I'll be back if I'm in the area again.

We ate dinner here one day and it was so amazing we came back for lunch the next day! The fried artichokes starter was incredibly tasty and fried to perfection. Their pizza had a very light and thin dough, the sauce was well seasoned, and the toppings were super fresh. The next day, we both had grass fed beef burgers on brioche buns. Truly this was the best burger Iâve ever tasted. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his beers and the second one he had was an award winner. Their wait staff was very attentive and the decor is beautiful. If you are anywhere near Oakhurst be sure to visit South Gate Brewing Company!

We stopped en route to Yosemite and were pleasantly surprised. Ordered a large two topping pizza for $16, with artichokes and mushrooms. Piled thick with fresh ingredients, excellent tasty crust, friendly service. Played pinball in the game room part of the restaurant. Had tons of leftovers later to provide hiking stamina.

Next door to the wonderful Blue Heron restaurant at the Yosemite Lakes Park clubhouse is the new Yosemite Grill. This location used to house a bar and has been upgraded to a bar with a terrific menu. Whether you want some pub grub to go with your beer, wine, or cocktail, or a full meal in a laid-back, congenial setting, the Yosemite Grill will provide what you're seeking. The menu offers a great deal of variety, and the prices are well below what you would expect to find in any comparable establishment. Food is very fresh and beautifully presented, and the service is friendly and on point. Try the bbq ribs - tender and tasty, with a side of slaw that has great texture and tang. Every plate we watched being delivered to surrounding tables made us want to return soon. During our stay at Yosemite, we stopped off at this resort for lunch, and it was so worth it! The buffet is huge and has foods from all over, and everything I tried was delicious! They had delicious beef tips and rice and lots of salad choices. I loved it, and so did my hsb. The desert area was just so-so, but the banana pudding I tried was delicious, also. Btw, it is so reasonably priced! Two ppl, only $29.26They have a large sitting area and the area was very clean. We would have loved to stay at the property, but they were full.

I am a local and have tried to give this place a chance numerous times. Today when I ordered a burger and fries today and it was blah poor. This time I did get the cheese that I paid for on it, last time no. It had no flavor, the tomato was slimy, the burger pale and not juicy. The fries tasted like they were cooked twice since I ordered extra crispy, like they were already made and then recooked. I through away half the meal and still feeling unsettled 5 hours later. Their taco meat also had fillers or extenders in it. It was good a while back when Robert was around, now I never see him. The quality was never great but when you are desperate and out working it was sufficient, I am better off getting food of better quality at the gas station down the road. Sorry guys not a good meal, and to the title I really not impressed when the gal taking orders reached into the cup with her fingers to hand the cup to a customer, gave her salt for her sugar for iced tea and had a personality less than a napkin bordering on hostile.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way to Yosemite. This is a relatively small kitchen but has a nice indoor and outdoor seating area. The food was fantastic. Simple and clean ingredients. One of the best meals I had onMy week long travel adventure in the Sierras. I will definitely return when in the area.

We had a group of people to celebrate a birthday, we were given a 4 item menu to my surprise. But, all items were very good and the presentation was very good. The service was very attentive and was aimed on pleasing our group. Blue Heron is becoming one of my favorite places.
