i joined family members for a special birthday celebration. Millwrights is a beautiful setting with an amazing view of the waterfalls. We had the perfect table near the window. Millwrights was very accommodating to our requests and we were able to celebrate with our own cake (cutting fee of $2.50 per person). Millwrights presented the table with complimentary champagne for the celebration. Our food was the best part of the evening. I had their Farm Salad and Scallops. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. The wait staff had somewhat of an attitude at times, like when I asked for forks instead of a spoon to eat my cake. Also, the restaurant would not let us light the cake, because we were told that it was a safety issue with an old building. It was overall, a very pleasant evening.Good evening, Thank you for joining us and for taking a few minutes to write a review about your experience with us. This is a fabulous steak restaurant.The service was fabulous and the hospitality.Love the high ceilings, controls the noise level.The decor is,very elegant.The plate presentations on the appetizers were gorgeous.The shrimp cocktail was so good.The fired oyster- the best.The octopus was cooked to perfection.The ribeye medium rare was perfect.Loved the pumpkin bread pudding.Definitely a place to come back.

I have passed by this place on several occasions and even had gone to exhibits there, but this is the first time I ate there. It was a very pretty day and many had the same idea as my friend and I. Eating outside is first come, first serve. We had made reservations which are taken for eating inside or on the "open" porch which we did. A "tablet" is given to you as your menu where you can go over the specials and other offerings. Our server, Michael, was great and very helpful. We both chose the "Lady Astor" chicken salad sandwich on croissant which came with a chopped salad. We enjoyed it and our time to catch-up, relaxing at the restaurant. We both passed on dessert and left very satisfied.

I ordered a $12.99 special which included a baked potato, steak, salad bar and dessert. You can't find that price anywhere!!! The salad bar had many selections. The handle on one of the utensils was a little too sticky for me. It would be good to make sure clean or replace salad bar utensils as they get sticky. The dinner took a long time to come out. It wasn't very busy in the restaurant. It was average meat but I didn't expect it to be great. The server was very nice and gave me a nice bowl of ice cream instead of something with gluten in it. The bartender was very friendly.

The best thing about the new sloppy waffle is the staff. The are very professional and make you feel as though you are eating in a fine dinning eatery. There are 3 areas for seating in a mixuture of booths, high tops and rounds all mixed together. ***Cash Only** but they have a small ATM. I don't trust these ATMs so I went to my own bank and returned. You order and pay at the counter then the staff brings you your meal.We were less than impressed with the food and coffee. I ordered a specialty waffle Strawberry and Cream for $7.99. To my surprised this is al a carte (not much of a value). The waffle (one) was a thin 6 inch rectangle. To that, I ordered hasbrowns which was dry and had an overwheming taste of paprika. The chicken served with the chicken and waffle special seamed tender, but it was doused in a sauce that, to me, threw off the dish. I recommend the sauce on the side. The coffee tasted like a bargin grocery store brand but the trade off is the unlimited refills. The mugs are tiny. White and Cane sugar are offerred along with milk and half-an-half.Very nice staff but uniform was extremely skin-tight yoga pants. These ladies were able to pull it off but not so sure of the appropriatness.

I saw an email about some of the best lobster rolls around and Max's was the closest for me and my family. We were not disappointed at all. The location was great. The staff from the host to the guy that sat us to the waiter was top notch. Never having been there before, they made us feel welcome. A great experience for me and my family.

Nice dinner. Excellent service by Patrick. My wife had the sea bass special, which I tested! Really outstanding. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. Finished with cappuccino. Delightful evening.

I wish I lived closer I would be a regular at the Grill Room. The chef really knows what he is doing and the staff is very friendly. We often meet local people who eat there regularly (always a good sign). This week we played a course in Bloomfield and left there to eat at the Grill room.You will not find a prettier place to dine outdoors. The menu is small but has tapas, salads, and entrees. And a good tap.

Our son was visiting from overseas and requested that our family of eleven (from ages 65-newborn) have dinner here before he had to fly back. We had a lovely table, good waitress and great food. Salads, burgers, beef wellington were all superb.There were highchairs, and the kids (11,7 and 2) LOVED the mac and cheese they ordered. The only downside was that there was no place to change a diaper in the restroom. We had a nice time.
