Howard showed us around their impressive orchid nursery and Stephen gave us an excellent chat about the various types of Hoya plants they have.Also took a walk around their property which includes a quaint chapel . A pleasant experience due to friendly and attentive service. Sunday lunch was home-style cooking at its best and great value for money. The facility was recently renovated. They also offer take-way menus that can be enjoyed in your own apartment, as well as breakfast specials during the holiday season.

The Cottage Restaurant in Pennington is a very pleasant venue, conveniently situated in the middle of the village. The menu is diverse and the food is good, the staff members are polite and pleasant, and the only reason I give it a rating of 4 out of 5 is through no fault of the owners; they have been waiting for months for their liquor licence to be approved. If they were able to serve alcoholic beverages, I should have no hesitation in giving them full marks. Come on, petty bureaucrats, award them their licence already!
