Navštíveno v době oběda. Bohatý výběr z týdenního menu. Rychlá obsluha, nekonečné množství personálu skutečně stíhá. Kvalita jídla dobrá , množství dostatečné. Ceny nápojů nízké.

This is Pilsner Urquell's concept restaurant, a chain. Cold beer, good hamburgers, nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient wait staff, central location, etc. They took too long to get to Zlín, but it is a nice addition.

This is a fun and often busy college pub, but contrary to its name, it is in the basement of a building, and it has no windows. It also allows smoking, which makes for a bad combination. You will probably have fun at the Loft, and it is a great place to meet people, but you will leave smelling of smoke.

Vyzkoušeli jsme paštiku s krajícem chleba a zavináč (zbytek kapra naložený v octu) taktéž s krajícem chleba, každý tento nesmysl stál 150kč a chuťově spíš propadák/navoněná bída. Koncept super, prostě všechno dobrý, ale doporučila bych servírovat jídla co té ceně opravdu odpovídají, a nebo ty ceny snížit.

New restaurant/brewpub. Great location in the corner of the main square. Nice atmosphere. Not bad food. Below average service. We waited 20 minutes to order. I ordered the soup and salad. When it came, I looked at the size of the meal and asked for a side order of french fries but was told by the waitress that sides must be ordered with the meal and not later. No french fries for me. My friends had hamburgers and fries, and they judged the hamburgers as OK but nothing special. Moreover, the kitchen has a glass door, and I looked through and saw the cook lick his fingers and then return to cooking. In other words, the place has potential, but the staff, which is young, certainly needs further training.

Short review:I really liked the food here, the flavour was amazing and the staff was super attentive and helpful. On our arrival, my wife (Czech) requested an English menu for me as my Czech needs some work... and the waiter smiled, turned around and gave us the menu, switched to English and asked me my country of origin, took our order and came back 5 minutes later with everything we ordered. The problem was the smoke... They seriously have some ventilation issues as you can smell the cigarette from the moment the door opens and it does not go away. It doesn't help having 20 people around, smoking like chimneys regardless of other people around.Extended version:I am quite sensitive to strong smells (I suffer from migraines) so, on our arrival, my wife noticed immediately the strong smokie atmosphere and asked our friend if she was happy for us to look for a different place. I thought I was going to be fine, so I told her that we could stay, our friend did not mind and we all agreed to eat and go somewhere else for dessert. We ordered a soup (Hraškovy krem, or pine cream), a salad (cheese and herbs), smažak (which is fried cheese) and a beef burger. Everything was delicious and super tasty... the portions were reasonable given that all the stuff we ordered was shared among three people. At that point, my migraine started to kick in (probably 7 minutes after we arrived) giving me visual artefacts and other sensations... I gently asked the waiter if there was another place she could relocate us so we could sense a lot less the smoke; she apologised telling us "there is no use, the smoke goes everywhere. If you want I can cancel the order now if this is going to be a problem..."I didn't want to impose and my wife was already engaged in a good conversation with her friend, shook my head and tried to engage in the conversation.I guess the waiter looked something strange in my face because she jumped straight to the kitchen and got our order before the table next to us saying "Got it as fast as I could, I do hope you enjoy your food even though there is a lot of smoke."The food was great, I wished they had more vegetarian options but what they had was good... but there is so much I can enjoy before I start to get dizzy and nauseated... My wife and her friend hurried up and got out of the restaurant in 35 minutes or so.Unfortunately, migraine had already taken place at the time we got out and it was going to be killing me for the next 40 hours. So, what does that mean for you, traveller? If you have smoke sensitivity (like me) staying here might not be a great idea. The air quality is extremely poor as many others will be smoking two to three cigarettes while you are there, multiply that a few times and boom! Ironically, this is quite common in the Czech Republic, most establishments don't want to prohibit this activity because a sector of the population chooses to smoke.I think the restaurant would do great if they decide to ban cigarettes or define a proper non-smokers area (which they do not have), the staff was super attentive. Unfortunately, I am not going to go back because the smell was very intense. On the other hand, if you are a smoker or don't care about second hand smoke... top up your lungs and enjoy your meal!
