A many generation 'family run' restaurant, packed with hundreds, yes, hundreds of hungry families waiting for a table... as we were only a couple they found us a small table and while waiting, we enjoyed a large glass of delicious white wine, reasonable price.The friendly waitress advised us on the best cut of steak which we shared... they even cut it up onto 2 plates with the side dishes and the portion was so large we were really glad we shared.

We were just touring 10 St in Great Falls looking for a good place to eat. With no previous recommendations the Cody Bill's sign caught my eye. Pulled in with no preconceived expectations. We were greeted promptly at the door and asked to sit on any side of the restaurant.The menu was quite large with a good variety of dinners for all tastes. I opted for the meatloaf and my wife ordered her favourite liver and onions. Both dishes came with mashed potatoes which were the instant variety. It's hard to believe that restaurants in this age of consumerism would even serve dry packaged products to their customers. Newsflash...the main reason to go out to eat is to enjoy better food than they can prepare at home!!! A child could prepare instant potatoes. Customers notice these seemingly little things. Fresh potatoes are better, cheaper and most importantly taste better.The meat loaf was plentiful as was the liver and onions. Meat loaf was not bad and the liver was somewhat tough but was purported to be the most tender in GF. The broccoli was steamed and not killed. Pretty average meal. The bright spot was the bill was just over $20.

This restaurant just opened recently at its new location. The service was good and the food, once received, was ample and good. The only negative was the length of time to get food. We were first customers and thought the food would be prepared faster
