My daughter and I stopped here for lunch after visiting the local college. Beautiful old building. Hush puppies with cheese sauce were incredible. Good menu selections. GREAT PRICES. She had the Cajun pasta. Great sauce a but skimpy on the seafood. Roll was fantastic! I had the seafood sampler. Superbly cooked fish and shrimp !!! Cajun potatoes were a but bland but the fries were good. Super service. We will certainly be back.

We have driven by the catfish house many times on our way to other places and it was always closed. In fact I thought it was permanently closed. Well today was the day we were going to try again, and it was open...hurray!! I ordered the catfish plate. 2 catfish, coleslaw (was delicious), hush puppies and fries. The meal was very good. The catfish takes a little time as they are not fillets. All and all was a good place and enjoyed the food. The are open Thursday thru Saturday...11am to 8pm if you decide to go.

Hot,great tasting food,downhome friendly staff and did I say hot food?If you like your Chicken hot with a taste to die for try Karock's in Ellisville,Ms. Rocky and Karan where in thefast food chicken chain for a while but now focus on their Mom and Pop food joint.They sevre up everthing HOT and FRESH!!!! Chicken strips,kabobs and more.Super sides and smiling faces that make yoy feel at home.The dip'n sauce is a 12 on a one to ten scale;yep it's that good.Don't take my word,please try it yourself and just try to tell me I'm wrong.

You would think that a place with 6-7 people working would have it together. Wrong. The whole place needs a good scrubbing. The floors were sticky. All the tables had dried food on them. A bucket of water, mops, rags and a couple of the seemingly lost employees would do this place good. Only one person waited the counter while the rest were engaged in conversation and wandered aimlessly thru the back of the business. I was really surprised we didn't get sick.
5. Creel's Diner
Great old fashioned place - off the main highway - full of locals.

Meals are made to order. Everything is made from scratch and the prices are right! One of the few restaraunts left that allow smoking.
