Arrived on a sad tuesday night where it was the only open place in town and we were able to grab a pretty good meal with an especially good salad, rather rare in this region. Nice and friendly service and more than acceptable beers.So sorry that it was a sad Tuesday. There was live music across the side street at Hambone's. I hope someone told you about it. Come back soon. The blues are supposed to make you happy in a strange sort of way.

If you judge a place by the food, this place is okay. If you judge by overall experience, this place leaves something to be desired. The service was not great, took a long time to get coffee, and the oatmeal, while tasty, came with no extras like brown sugar or raisins.

I generally have breakfast here when I'm in Clarksdale. On this trip I ordered my usual. The ham was a little burnt around the edges.....and the hashbrowns were......broken up tater tots.
