Went to hear someone music and have good ears. Was not disappointed. I had the small Mederterrian Pizza. Shrimp, pesto, artichoke, goat cheese, mozzarella and bell peppers. Absolutely delish. Would definatly order again. Service was a little slow, but it was a packed house. Was seated immediately.Music was good too. Dude had a LOT of electronics at his feet. Kinda felt sorry for the dude cuz he was trying to perform, but there was a lot of kids there. But, I did get there at 630. Great food, cool vibe, fast service, VERY sweet tea! We all (three generations) agree that our favorite was the turnip greens bites. Cheesy, filling goodness; I suspect that alone could be a meal.We enjoyed chicken Alfredo, red beans & rice, grilled chicken with havarti & veggies, gyro, and shrimp & grits. All spectacular. Way too much food.Lovely server. We hope to go back.

I stopped n Labor Day at the outside bar. It was very nice views of the reservoir and had a tropical like atmosphere. Lots of friendly people and servers. The food was good and reasonably priced. I would recommend the outside bar because of the atmosphere!Hi, Norman! We really appreciate these compliments. Thank you for taking the time to let us know that you enjoyed our view, atmosphere, service, and food! Thank you, also, for recommending our tiki bar. Seems as if everything is prepackaged and microwaved when ordered. Food is ok but nothing special. Staff is very hit and miss and this chain has seen better days in my opinion. They offer several meal deals to bring the customers in and you can't get a descent steak here. With many more good options in the area it's easy to pass this restaurant up. I wish there were better things to say but I am not impressed with the food or service. Restaurant was clean and not overly dirty. If you want to visit a dinosaur of a resturant chain that has made no real changes since the 90's and food is more of a precooked tasting situation this is the resturant for you.

Great place with a full bar. Staff is always very nice and friendly. Go during happy hour (2-7) for super drink specials. Don't forget the food. It is outstanding.

I went here expecting a hole in the wall to pick up some crawfish. When I pulled up I found a large parking lot full of cars, and an indoor outdoor eating area with patio style seating outside and large picnic style tables inside. Complete with bar. They also have other things to eat other than crawfish however I didn't peruse the menu as I was there for crawfish. I got mine to go that day but this looks like a good place to hang out weigh friends.

My family and I were looking for a place to eat in Flowood and decided to try Half shell. We were very pleased with everything. New Orleans atmosphere, cajun cooking and great service. Our waitress Dorthea was attentive and prompt. Our 2 kids loved the food the food as much as we did. We will definitely return.
