A delicious pulled pork sandwich (go for the large), house-made potato salad, coleslaw and corn bread made for a great quick and easy dinner on a rainy October evening. Although lots of folks were popping in for takeout, the friendly staff, nice tunes playing in the background, and excellent prices made this very small and very casual dining room (fewer than a dozen tables) a cozy spot for a visiting solo diner.

Medium food and service. Washed all tables with same rag, cold and not washed kind of the only breakfast in NPT accept Handy lunch and Franklyn Spa.

I always look for the good places to dine when I travel, so I researched this one in advance of my trip, and made sure to make a reservation several weeks in advance (a must!). So glad we were able to dine here. It was a superior experience all the way around -- ambiance, food, service. A must-try, if you're a foodie.

We lucked out and got in the door before they locked us out. It's a good thing, because there were plenty of disappointed diners left hungry out in the parking lot. They missed some great seafood...fried-up fresh and hot with no-nonsense sides.
The world famous Stuffed Quahog Stuffie was worth the wait!

We spent the weekend in Newport, RI for our annual office Holiday Party. When we asked several people from our office where to go for breakfast, the unanimous choice was The Atlantic Grille. We arrived around 10:30 and were promptly seated; although a steady stream of regulars, locals and visitors like us kept pouring through the doors even though the snow was coming down. It was fairly easy to spot the locals; they were in shorts and tee shirts despite the weather! After reviewing the menu, my wife and I both decided on the Farmer's Omelette...an amazing creation! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and it held us throughout the day, and most of the evening. The service was great, the food terrific and the ambiance is what one would expect at the beach. We finished our meal and were of to explore Newport in the sleet and snow. The breakfast kept us going...cannot wait to return!

We swung in due to Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. We were greeted by a very pleasant manager and seated quickly. Our server, Ebony, was so nice. We were pleasantly surprised when we repeated back our order to make sure she had it correct.
There was just a different (positive) feel to this place. You felt the inquiry "how is your meal" was sincere and not just what they needed to do. Glad we found it.

This little shop has great sandwiches, soups, and salads. We had the ham/egg/cheese stuffed croissant. But, our favorite was the black forest ham/gruyere/dijon stuffed croissant. Their fresh baked pastries are also excellent..until they run out. Don't miss the pumpkin chocolate chip croissant with salted caramel (I'm guessing this one is seasonal).
Because this place has so few seats, I would recommend coming early or waiting until slightly after the breakfast/lunch hours. It's VERY COZY. Then again, you could order to go and enjoy a beautiful stroll around the neighborhood.

Excellent pizza, great customer service. My wife and I had a slice each before we hit the road back home and we were treated the same as the family of 5 ordering the entire menu. I'm a bit of a pizza snob since I live in jersey but can honestly say it was great pizza. Wish we had time to have dinner and order more but were in a rush.

This place literally makes the BEST burger, and I have eaten MANY burgers. The hormone and no antibiotics used meat is ground in house, and cooked to perfection. I had the Mickey D's burger, simple with mustard, pickles, tomato, lettuce and sharp cheddar. The chili dog was ok, and the falafel was good, just ask for extra tzatziki.

I went here after spending a day in Newport. This is actually in Middletown right outside of Newport. Not necessarily hard to find but you have to make your way out of Newport proper to get to. The restaurant has that old type of New England Feel to it with modern amenities. The beer was good, nothing amazing but better than any of the normal mass produced garbage. The food was good, the portions were good and the service was great. This is a good choice if you are in the area.
