Reviewed By DaleneBarnardMy husband and I stayed at Pumpkin Tree for 3 nights in October as our son was playing in a golf tournament in Middelburg. The guesthouse is very comfortable. The decor is tasteful, interesting and quirky. There are many interesting outside seating areas in the lovely entertainment area, around the pool and garden. We had dinner there once and Anita set a table outside. Lovely ambiance! They are licensed and there is an honesty bar. The breakfast was delicious! Our room was large, the bed was very comfortable and there was a small kitchen area with a fridge. Good free wifi. There is place to work of you need to. The shower was large, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The room and bathroom were very clean, as is the entire guesthouse. Anita and her staff are very friendly and hospitable, not forgetting Bella the dog! The rates are very reasonable. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! This place is a real gem! Pumpkin Tree would fit in perfectly in an arty place like Clarens or Dullstroom.

The rooms are amazing, it is very often that you stay at a place where cleanliness is a priority. Well done. At breakfast the staff went out of there way to ensure my daughter had a lovely meal, she can be quite picky but with a smile they managed to make her a nice plate and she enjoyed every last bite. Will definitely visit again, next time I will make it a family trip.

Even though I suppose to have stayed for two nights but was moved to Kairos diue to mishap with another customer. The receptionist was so professional in handling that and felt honored the way she handled it

What an oasis in the middle of an Ultra
Reviewed By 365LisaSo very glad we chose the Orion to stay while doing the Loskop Ultra. Ella was a delightful hostess and I absolutely loved the decor. I could have perused it for hours! Runners were accommodated with early access to breakfast on race day. The bar and dining room and pool area were marvelously homey and accessible to greet fellow hobblers after the race. My room was amazing and the stocked honesty bar was a very very welcome surprise. All in all a wonderful experience and definitely the place to stay for Loskop!

Didn't get what we asked for
Reviewed By Gavin vWe booked two rooms with 2 single beds in each room. Instead, we got two rooms with a double bed in each room. Made things very awkward as we weren't couples travelling together. We arrived late, just after 9PM so didn't bother trying to get hold of any management to correct this. Pay attention to the detail on the bookings!
