Stopped for lunch and ordered beef gyro meal. Arby's has made a good attempt at a gyro but not like the real thing. It has a good flavor and comes with cucumber sauce applied. The curly fries are always enjoyable and their iced tea is good but on the weak side. I was told they don't have a senior discount on the meal. But still not a bad price at under $7.

What an amazing place! We had 4 egg omelets, toast, hash browns and sweet pancakes all served on vintage plates. But who notices the food. The walls are covered with memorabilia for a constant source of entertainment. The waitress (in her fifties uniform was fun and accommodating. Back to the food. It was outstanding. I can’t wait to go back.

I like to stop in for fish and chips whenever I'm in the area. Right off of US-131, so good quick place to grab lunch. Right out of the fryer it's hot and delicious. Two pieces of fish, fries, cole slaw, and a coke for under $9.00. Plenty of seating and friendly staff. Only weird thing about the place is the bathrooms are outside along with the drive thru lane.

I've really never eaten anything but the ice cream at Deans, but it's been the Bosma's summer, go-to place, for a few decades. My sons and I started participating in the tradition in 1977, before I married into the family. My husband, his three siblings and their spouses, are the first generation included in this review, but since most of our kids are now married, with kids of their own, there's now a third generation of ice cream, malt and shake fanatics who NEED their "Deans" in the summertime (a destination MUST, during any Bosma family gathering)!

Stopped for a drink and a bite. The bartender was friendly, made great drinks and shook my had when we left. Clean and kid friendly as there were families as well. We did get to see a drunk old lady doing her best booty dance in front of the whole bar. The later it got, the more young drunk, load and verbally abusive guests came in. Its a bar, That's what happens. We are not put off by it. Would recommend.

Four of us had the London broil and a personal barbecue chicken pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The barbecue chicken pizza was just meh. Nothing to write home about. Pizza huts pizza is definitely better. The Brussels that came with the London broil were grilled to a crisp and were pretty much in recognizable. Definitely won’t go back here again. We only went there because it was right next to our hotel.Hello. We are sorry to hear about your recent experience at our Plainwell location. This is a great place to have a really good breakfast meal or lunch. Went there yesterday for lunch and I love their hamburger deluxe along with an order of fries (krinkle cut) and everything was delicious. The place is great with lots of locals eating there. Would highly recommend for a fun, delicious lunch or breakfast meal. Only open until 2 pm daily.

Salvino's Ristorante

Salvinos Restaurante is your premium Italian and American restaurant in Otsego, MI. If you are looking for classic American favorites along with traditional Italian dished, come into Salvinos Restaurante.

Salvino’s Ristorante offers a delicious taste of Italy – Plainwell style, of course – in a comfortable environment, and with friendly and efficient service. Their extensive menu seemingly offers something for every taste. They also offer a daily luncheon buffet, and their entire menu is available for take-out. It could all be better only if Salvino’s prices were more reasonable – considering they’re in Plainwell (and not Italy).

Four Roses Cafe

This is a wonderful little restaurant that is sort of replacing another wonderful restaurant in Plainwell called Arie's Cafe. It is absolutely a wonderful new restaurant.

My girlfriend and I were staying in Kalamazoo and were looking for a dinning option outside of the downtown tourist regulars. We stumbled upon Four Roses on an internet search and decided to take the drive out. We could not have been more pleased! They change their menu daily based on what they bring in from their local purveyors and create a versatile and delightful menu for their guests to choose from. I got the chicken breast with morel mushroom gravy, I will probably remember that sauce for the rest of my life, it was amazing! My girlfriend got the mustard crusted baby back ribs, they were fall off the bone tender, perfectly cooked and packed a powerful punch of flavor and creativity. Our charming and generous server Cassie talked us into getting dessert. She walked up with a 2 foot tall chalk board with tons of options! Consisting of home made pies, bread puddings and cakes. We landed on the lemon icebox pie, a frozen custard pie with a graham cracker crust that was absolutely delightful. You can taste the love and passion that goes into what they do. We highly recommend Four Roses for anyone seeking an original, comforting, yummy dining experience.
