Steak by the ounce, choose what kind you want and how much you want. Baked potatoes are HUGE, bigger than your average potato. You buy everything separate or ala carte. Steaks are all I've had here, but I would like to do the fish on Fridays. We usually come early to avoid the line, there will be a line during the dinner hour. It's not a big place, but they have been there at least over 30 years that I have been going. Kinda scary neighborhood, but they have a parking guard. Tiny little salad bar in the corner, but its packed with good stuff. Its all you can eat, but really only worth the one trip though, (like $4.50 to fill up your plate, or all you can eat for $8 something)....it's only basic salad stuff.

Husband stopped here for dinner for our fam. Ordered the regular hamburger & cheeseburger sliders, and fries for them, and sweet potato fries, a breakfast sandwich (egg and sausage on wheat bread), fish sliders and chicken ring sliders for me. Not sure why but they didn't have any seasonal sliders. Everything was yummy and fresh.

I just had the best BLT ever, and want everyone to know. It was big, it was fresh, the bacon was perfect, the toast was perfect, the lettuce (was it romaine?) and tomato was fresh and crisp. I have heard their sandwiches are big, such as their corned beef and hamburgers, I was in the mood in the morning for a BLT, and I went thru the drive thru. When the bag was handed to me, it was heavy. I will be going here again!

If you're looking for a light bite or filling meal you can find it here. Caters to vegetarian as well. The caprese sandwich is great and the soups (there are a ton) are always fantastic and filling. Durng lunch rush you might have a hard time getting a seat so you may want to get it to go.

Older restaurant had a very friendly staff. Our waitress suggested a few meals from different sections of the menu. We followed her recommendations. The chicken A La Firenze was nicely seasoned and served with a spicy dipping sauce. Chicken Parmesan was also a very good suggestion. The table next to us ordered fried cheese cake for dessert which looked very good. The table said the cheesecake was perfection.Thanks for the great review.

Well I love that chicken salad and everybody else had the Caesar salad with chicken.. I don't live in the area but I would go back for that chicken salad. The restaurant is clean light and Airy. Wait staff is helpful friendly and efficient. The two times I have been there the owner has always been outside and asked about the meal and service. And the flowers and Landscaping is lovely on the outside

Seven of decided to go and have a friendly gathering! The Cod Dinner, Chicken Dinner, Perch Dinner, and Dinner Salad were excellent. Server was friendly and attentive! Portions were huge, we needed take home containers! We were fortunate to get there earlier on a Sunday afternoon, because at 5:00 PM, all tables were filled! The Salted Pretzel Appetizer was great! We will definitely return!

I have been away from Michigan and moved back. Mr. Paul's is one of the few true Detroit restaurants left on the east side.Steaks are excellent [I recommend the porterhouse] and service is still above average. Mr. Paul is on premises most of the time overseeing the food and service.

Brunch at the Original Pancake House is always great. Always a line to get in but it moves fast. Efficient staff seats you quickly. Bacon and Cheese Omelette, Eggs Michael, Big Apple, side of bacon, coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice provided plenty of food for the three of us. Consistent tasty food for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. A busy atmosphere with plenty of smiles from patrons.

We had my Husbandâs Grandmaâs funeral lunch there today, the manager Flip made it very easy to set everything up. When we got there, we all had drinks within minutes. The server was extremely friendly and efficient!! The food was good and hot!! All around it was a great experience and we will definitely keep this place in mind for future gatherings!!
