El restaurant es ideal para compartir un almuerzo en familia. Posee un servicio a la carta y parrilla libre. Es un Ambiente familiar y Los costos son de aproximadamente $250 por persona. El precio incluye una entrada, parrilla libre y postre. Bebidas aparte.

The restaurant is 30 minute drive away from the center. We didn´t have a reservation, but it was a weekday and we found a table available anyway. Is a famous place inside a shopping Mall (Palmares). Food was great and service was ok. The food and surroundings are excellent and faultless. The dishes balance well with the selected wines. Eduardo the host showed us around the beautiful house which he has renovated and explained the history of the winery.We felt special as he limits the number of guests to just 12 for lunch. I would highly recommend this experience without hesitation. Thanks for your words and your visit. Happy to know that your experience at our home will last in your memory!

Las Donosas does traditional BBQ but as it is Argentina, the meat is only ready after 9:30pm! So we were restricted to their a la carte menu. The restaurant has a lovely setting with an outside garden next to the BBQ and a lovely, trendy indoor section with a funky bar and a wine cellar where you can go and choose your own wine. We decided to share their empanadas as a starter....very tasty. Three different fillings and all very good. These were fried as opposed to the usual baked variety and were really good. For mains my husband had the pork ribs which he declared to be very good. I had the salmon, which was lovely (I couldn't face more meat!). We shared a bottle of something red.....can't remember what it was! The owner came to chat to us.....what a lovely and delightful hostess! Sadly we couldn't say the same for our waitress who was super impatient with our stuttering Spanish (we can actually speak a bit, so I can't imagine what she would be like with customers who don't speak a word!) and wasn't in the least bit inclined to try to help. When we asked her to speak a bit slower, she did what English speakers usually do......raised her voice and barked back at us! When another waiter (who did speak a bit of English) came over, she basically shooed him away.....obviously she was after the tip! It did spoil the evening somewhat for us, even though the food was good....hence the 3 stars rather than 4Dear FractalacticFirst of all we would like to apologise for the experience that you have with our waitress, its a shame that you have to face that situation. As well, we try our best to have an english speakers waitrees but some times it is difficult to find and to balance the personality with the skills, and as human being, we have good days and bad days. We made our team based in simple and warmest people and I was surprised about the mistrate that you got. Sorry about it.Sometimes in my own experience is tough when we travel, to get in a place that we visit, someone who is able to understand us.On other hand we would like to thanks your comments about our restaurant...the bottle of something red must be a red wine and always its great to share a glass of wine with our beloved especially in MendozaWishing that you have a great travel back home.Warmest regards.Las Donosas

This place is a few kilometres outside of Mendoza but well worth a visit. This outside area is beautiful and very rustic. The food is excellent and I would recommend the pumpkin soufflé as a side dish if it isnât an option with your meal as itâs the best (as it also is at their sister restaurant in the centre of Mendoza). We loved this place, highly recommended.

La Barrica is located adjacent to a large gas station frequented by truckers just south of Lujan on route 40. I know you are thinking truckers stop---well might be some truth to that only because they have a keen sense of value. Once inside you will be surprised to find out it is anything but!!! I have eaten here before and came away with the same feeling close but not quite living up to it's great potential. The service is always too complacent, but some of that is just Argentina. The presentation is excellent as well as the quantity and quality of food. Yes all the elements are there but somehow it always comes out average plus. Basically this is a lunch place but they do service dinner on Sat. night and have a great special, if you are dining with 4 people. Call in for a reservation and specify that you are ordering the special and you will receive 4 dinners (840 pesos value) and pay for only 2 (420 pesos) Don't let my average rating scare you away. This place is worth a visit!!!

We loved our stay at Villa Mansa, the restaurant was exactly what we needed when we got home late and needed some great food. Their breakfasts were very good and they were so nice to always make sure we got what we needed even if it wasn't on the buffet. The people were so nice and I loved our room, the deck was perfect to go out on to watch the sunrise most every morning. I would go back here for sure!Joy,Thanks for your review. We stayed at Lares for 5 nights and had dinner 3 of the 5. The food was authentic, fairly priced and deliciously prepared. The wine list is also very well priced and has a nice variety. This is a good place to get take away pizza.One can stay and have it in their premises but its not go much there apart from some tables and chairs!Very nice people that work there but their English is not great, still one can always communicate the basics when ordering a pizza!There are several selection and they all all very well priced as are most food restaurants in Argentina.The do open late in Argentina tradition so don't expect to be able to order anything until around 8pm and don't expect to get your food before 9:30pm.
