Reviewed By Stephen EThe hotel is located on the main street, as the city is small you can make you way to the Radboud castle by foot and the bus station too. There was a very nice old steam train, but you should book this in advance! The food was very nice and everything was served with a smile.

Enjoyable stay
Reviewed By Val MExcellent B& B. Quiet area. Short walk into town. Good breakfast and friendly, helpfully host. Having a kitchen in the room was convenient. Secure parking for our bicycles. The only downside was a steep and winding stair case up to our room. Could be a problem if guests weren't particularly agile or had large suitcases. There are rooms available on the ground floor.

Reviewed By zwettieHad a great stay with superhosts Jeroen and Petra. During the evening I enjoyed a wood heated jacuzzi while the outside temperature was -12C. In the morning scrambled eggs were served. Great place to stay!

Logeren tussen de fruitbomen en groentegewassen; dat is toch uniek? Buitenplaats Medemblik ligt met haar flank tegen natuurgebied de Vooroever en toch vlakbij vele voorzieningen en bezienswaardigheden van het pittoreske Medemblik. Kom per auto, fiets, lopend of per boot( We hebben onze eigen aanlegwal aansluitend op de Groote Vliet)! Logeren tússen de tulpen, uniek voor Noord Holland. Op dit kleinschalige vakantiepark met lodges( mét volledig uitgevoerde eigen keuken en badkamer) camping en meer,is het hele jaar door de mogelijkheid om comfortabel te kamperen in ruime Lodgetenten, gewone lodges of uw eigen campeermiddel.

Reviewed By ErikdePooterOf je nou per auto, fiets of zelfs kano komt: deze camping is een ideale rustige plek om te overnachten. Ja, geen animatieteam of superglijbaan. Maar daarom zo lekker rustig. En geen gedoe met warm water, WC-papier, stroom of zeep: het is er gewoon en zonder gedoe. En een vriendenprijsje. Hier komen we zeker nog wel eens terug, maar dan voor wat langer. Bedankt Nico!

Beware their cancellation insurance!
Reviewed By rayn299I booked a bungalow and had to cancel because sailing event was cancelled. Having taken out cancellation insurance which covered cancellation due to other components of my holiday becoming unavailable, I was shocked when they refused payment. No sympathy, no interest from owners or insurance company and, in my opinion, a mis-sold insurance policy. Be very careful if you take out cancellation insurance.

Reviewed By Fred-1968_1Prima locatie, mooi historische pand, direct bij het centrum. Ruim voldoende parkeerruimte en voor de elektrische rijders een laadpaal om de hoek. Aan het water. Vriendelijke eigenaar, prima ontbijt voor een lage prijs. Schoon en complete kamer.

Reviewed By Gary BThe accommodation at Restinn is essentially a studio apartment, with twin beds and everything you need for a VERY peaceful night. Located about 15 minutes from Medemblik in the countryside. The welcome from the owners was really good, I was running late due to train problems but my tardiness was not a problem for them. Breakfast, tea and coffee are included in the rate, which was a good rate anyway. The darkness was awesome, no light pollution at all. The views over the fields in the light box the morning was fantastic. This is the place to stay for peace and quiet.
