Friends took us to this restaurant as they had been here before. What a fabulous surprise. The most eclectric menu I have every seen. Wild boar, delicious. Sea bass, delicious. Pickeral delicious. Surf and fturf, dekicious. Great server great food awesome surrondings. Looks like nothing, but, Wow!!

What a pleasure it was to find this place! Clean, bright, inviting. The two girls working were very pleasant! I had the Norwegian Eggs Benedict while my wife had the house Benedict. The service was really friendly (the server let me borrow her phone charger!), we didn't wait long for drinks or food and the fries were delicious. I couldn't finish my burger because I thought it tasted exactly like a Costco burger (which aren't my favourite kind) so I wouldn't advise getting their house burger. My boyfriend enjoyed his veggie burger well enough though. A little costly for the quality but decent enough that I'd likely return again.

The Kitchen is like being in your own home with family serving up the great home cooked food you can imagine. They have a wonderful menu to choose from and great treats for dessert. Dine family style at a large wooden table in the front window, or choose a more intimate smaller table within the dining room. Or...pick a nice two seater on the sidewalk out front to enjoy all the goings on in Meaford Ontario. You won't be dissapointed.

If you are in Meaford, close to Meaford, or heck - even an hour away from Meaford, make a point of visiting Perogie Palace. We stopped in for lunch and ended up being so full we almost had to cancel a dinner reservation we had elsewhere five hours later... but we didn't because we like food. :-D We each had 6 perogies and a cabbage roll. The cabbage rolls are BIG so be prepared! My favourite cabbage roll was the mushroom and sauerkraut which was delicious. Second favourite was the surprisingly awesome broccoli and Cheddar. Yum! Try this place! Do it! Go!

We stopped at McGintys twice for afternoon coffee’s. The coffee is good. We also had sandwiches, which were very tasty and filled to overflowing. I had my tuna Sandwich on malted brown bread which was very light and really tasty.
Super cafe. Would definitely visit again.

Our latest visit to Suzie's was for a Saturday morning breakfast.
Portions are large and the food is homestyle and delicious. Coffee was good and free flowing :) This place can get packed with locals. You get to see many familiar faces while you eat. Service is always super friendly. Come get some breakfast, I recommend it :D

I stopped here for lunch with my husband and three kids, as we have a cottage in the area. We had sausages and the peameal bacon Sandwich - it was all amazing! The food is all fresh and put on the BBQ made to order - not sitting on a grill all day! There are plenty of condiments to choose from, as well as a variety of drinks and chips - a hit with my kids. It was VERY clean and the couple running the cart were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The added bonus is the location, which has a beautiful view of Georgian Bay and a park and washrooms nearby. We can't wait to go back to Meaford Top Dogs very soon. I am already thinking about my next peameal bacon Sandwich!

I was very impressed when it first opened. The food was very "cheflike" and the price was reasonable. But service was lacking, we finished our meal and made the mistake of accepting the offer for kid's ice cream for dessert. It was a 45 minute wait! I had to ask three times just to get my ice cream! Then the fancy square plates disappeared, and the steak wasn't tender and yummy like it used to be, then it just kind of went downhill from there.

Here we go again ... What wonderful evening we had with family at this establishment.. The ribs were a big hit with everyone and the Lamb was delicious..
Service is by far excellent and the Atmosphere is perfect. Our appetizers were cooked perfectly and our Ribs..WOW so delicious.. all who ate the ribs raved about them.. .
So glad we came back for 2.0 .. will be back again when in the area..
