There are many places in Mayrhofen area that serve the standard stuff at normal to high prices, mainly Meat.
This is a fish place, in fact a trout place, trout in any version including garlic, classic, onions, in ham, etc. All at reasonable prices and a good service.
A bit offsite ... Worth the trip. Reserve a table - at 8pm it is crowded with people waiting.

We ordered the cheese fondue for 7 people. It not only came with bread, but also with a selection of fruits. Something new to us. But ... very nice. Highly recommend for lunch on Mountains. I had linguini, it was really big and so delicious. Fire places are really cosy. Only bad thing is that they brought are desserts before main dishes and they were cold when we started to eat.

This is a lovely restaurant pub/music bar on an evening. It is centrally located to the village but if you want to eat there it is best to book a table especially if it’s band night. It can be fairly lively but in a very easy and friendly atmosphere.

Over the counter sales of hot and cold specialities you can eat there or to take away. Simple, local, delicious food at a very good price, almost all the time crowded by meat lovers. And after enjoying food there, you can buy there also pretty rare food to take home - for example wild boar ham, deer sausages etc. Really nice!

This place is buzzing. It is a very large place but still retains Austrian charm. Although busy you can get served quickly. The DJ Matty Valentino is brilliant. Well worth a visit, we managed it twice, it was a great laugh. I would rate it as the number one apres ski in Mayrhofen.

We had not booked, however they accommodated our small group. We all had burgers and were thoroughly impressed with them. Good quality food and drink and service. This place gets very busy. Our server Marco was fantastic and had a great sense of humour!! make sure you order the onion rings!!!

Mayrhofen is a place where I came when I was younger. No after a decade or two I visited this village again and in my opinion it sold its soul to the mass tourism and totally lost its charm. Its not Austria I think.
But some things remain the same and kept their charm despite all developments. Luckely I can say. This place is one of them. It is one of the better grand cafes - restaurants in town. With a bit old fashioned look but it fits and suits the place. Staff is helpful and polite. They have the better apfel strudle in town, although in other cities I had better one. For big bowls of ice cream or even regular lunch and dinner or in betweens this is a good location to go to. Clean restrooms as well. The only thing they could try a bit harder in to improve is the number of flies that were flying around during the summer. Furthermore good to know it is a very good accessible location for wheel chairs and disabled people. Recommendation four stars.

I called into Edelweiss Lounge on the off chance we could get a table on Christmas Day. They were very busy but managed to book a late table.
On arrival the waitress greeted us immediately and showed us to our table and took the drinks order recommending the house red which was fab. The Menu is varied so we opted for Austrian Fayre.
The food served was fantastic and the portion sizes Huge! Still had room for Apple Strudel though.
The Lounge which is upstairs is where we ate, and it was very Austrian in decor (lots of wood). The downstairs restaurant also looked lovely being maybe a little more formal but offering the same menu.
The bill was very very reasonable £68 euros inc 1Lt of wine (It was Xmas!)
We were so impressed we revisited on our last night and had an excellent time yet again.
Well worth a visit and worthwhile booking.

This was our first meal in Mayrhofen and what a way to lovely waitress was unfazed by our request for a table for 14. We were served as fast as she could manage it, as the restaurant became increasingly busy, but we had drinks on the tables quickly and we were happy to wait. The pizzas were worth waiting for. Large, piping hot and excellent toppings, and our plates were cleaned. We’d been up since 2.30am and we were famished!!! Would definitely come back here again. Recommended.
