This is a small spot that has very good Mexican fare. The staff is very attentive and friendly... sort of homey. Prices are fair and the Margaritas are well made. Early on a Saturday night walked in, place packed, so ate at the bar. Our standby, the shrimp with lime... one of the best dishes. Also, a chicken quesadilla. Flan to finish.... all perfect. Excellent chips/salsas served gratis.Very enjoyable.

Neither the enchiladas (carnitas and steak) or the rice and beans that came with it had much flavor. Wasnât too happy about being charged a $2.50 premium for carnitas in one of the rather small enchiladas. Wish the waiter had told me beforehand. Not worth a return visit.

Had dinner on a Sunday evening. Atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable. Good menu selection. Service was disappointing throughout the meal. The server was inattentive; brought dishes with the ingredient we emphasized should be left out. She couldn't tell us what salad dressings they had, and just threw packets on the table (not what we asked for). Food was mixed - some prepared well, some dishes seemed tossed together. This was a real change from times past, when the food and service was consistently very good. I am hoping it was just an 'off' day.

Wish I had found & tried this place before I moved away! I was back visiting and decided to meet a friend there for "Taco Tuesday." Excellent decision! The tacos were just as they should be! Service was good and not rushed, and we loved their dessert menu!
