DO NOT GO THERE!!!! It is overpriced & self-serve to boot, not to mention the plastic solo cups from which you are served (and no discount for the downgrade) I had the unfortunate experience of witnessing a bar staffer who came to work with wet hair, dirty clothes and horrible attitude. The food is more pricey than its worth. Not sure what happened with its predecessor, Red Sky, but your hard earned dollars could be better spent somewhere else.

Red Lobster continues to carry a wide selection of seafood prepared many different ways. Their prices have increase do that most items cost more than $20. I love their garlic buttered biscuits. We were lucky to be there when they were running a limited Four Course Feast special for $17. My wife had the coconut shrimp which she loved. I stuck to the grilled garlic shrimp. We were delighted to discover that the servings were full sized. We each had a cup of clam chowder. We each had a triple chocolate Brownie, can you say chocolate overload? Our waiter, Trey, was helpful with suggestions and very attentive. We ended up taking leftovers home. It was a good meal.

Having recently returned from a trip from Southern California and given that my friends/family went out of town, and also having reasonably good experiences at the nearby Teppanyaki Grill at Laurel Lakes, I'd decided to give the other main buffet in the area a go, after waiting a few weeks due to a power outage. First off, the server was very orderly and helpful, and the place seemed clean, even if the ambiance wasn't quite as appealing as the sleeker Teppanyaki location. The trouble is, at $12.50 instead of $10 over there, I expected somewhat better food quality. Boy, I was disappointed, with the biggest being the sesame chicken, which tasted so dry and undercooked, that I couldn't eat it completely! The sushi was just cold and felt dry, a big letdown from all the great sushi on the west coast trip and I've had better at the local Giant. Even the desserts were rather bland. Overall, if you can't find an all-you-can-eat establishment elsewhere, eat here with low expectations, but otherwise, either pay a little extra for better quality or head over to Teppanyaki.

I spoke to the manager on 12/22 about our experience. For a Saturday during the holidays, it was busy. But the birthday celebration we got for our friend allowed us to get seated fairly quick. Our server was Queeny (who apparently is new). She started off with a attitude and less than welcoming tone when introducing herself and getting our drink orders. Then our cook was probably new too as he did not have that many good tricks and even messed some up badly, such as dropping his spatula. To add insult, the food was undercooked and eventually made me sick the next day (undercooked / old rice, undercooked mushrooms and noodles). We also asked Queeny if we could get a birthday celebration done for our fried whoâs birthday was on 12/23. So Queeny asks for her ID and simply said âtoday is not 12/23â and walked off. Such a simple gesture was ignored and made the experience terrible. The manager even said that he would have approved that and didnt know why she said that...I have been here before and had great experiences but this one was one that ruined it for me.

I ordered the First Mate combo with fried shrimp and crab balls. My sides were french fries and corn nuggets. The shrimp were large, but very tough! The crab balls were soggy! The corn nuggets and fries were good. For $25, this was definitely not worth it! Perhaps this is why the place was empty the entire time that I was there!Sorry, but from now on when I want good seafood in the Laurel area, I will go to Emmert's Seafood, Mid-Atlantic Seafood or EJ's Provision!

This was our first visit to EJ's. We loved the food, the presentation and the general feel of the dining room. Disappointments were the bleed-over noise from the TVs in the bar and the fact that the menu is a bit pricey. These disappointments aren't severe enough to keep us away in the future, but we probably won't go back as often as we might otherwise.
