We celebrated my cousin's 49th birthday here! We had so much fun bringing Florida to Maryland so to speak. Like the North and South meeting again. Lots of music, fun, laughter and plenty of dancing. The food and drinks are served at a reasonable price. Matter of fact, when we saw the menu, we regretted that we didn't go straight there for dinner instead of someplace else. This place has a great vibe! 25 and older crowd where everybody's grown, mature and holding their own. A live band that's not afraid to party with the crowd (lead singer joined the soul train line with us) Things to note: $20 cover charge, must be 25 and older, free coat check, and strict dress code. (No fashion jeans with the holes in them, a relative was not allowed in, luckily we had just picked him from the airport and he was able to change to another pair of jeans) Last, but not least, the staff is hospitable and friendly.

Never expect much out of places like this. This is a very basic restaraunt, where the food fills the void and the service is....The place was not overly clean, with lots of food bits and pieces of paper on the floor. The washrooms were fairly clean, but not perfect.FoodThe food was good, and the burgers and salads being good, but things like chicken or shrimp being below average. The steak was better than expected, which is remarkable from a place like this. I don't think a lot of cooking happens out back and most comes in pre cooked and just warmed up. ServiceThe service was jot good at all, but it was not because of the server, but instead it was that they were short staffed both times I was there.Overall it was ok and took the hunger away.

We wanted to try them out for Sunday dinner, and we're disappointed. I ordered their vegetable platter and the portions were small (3 fork-full) takeout cup sizes. My hubby ordered the whiting fish only (approx. 4 pieces.) The food was tasty, but not a good value considering the price! Their cornbread was the best thing we ate! (I took a picture to upload it the file size was too large. Sorry.) Parking is limited as there are other retail stores in the strip mall and a new Krispy Kreme that took up half of the previously available parking spaces.

Recently visited the Silver Diner for breakfast and dinner while in the area working. We found the service to be friendly and meals arrived quickly. Standard diner experience without any issues. Would return again if in the area and looking for some decent and simple meal options.

What a lovely space we thought as we entered for lunch. Everything looked new and sparkling. The background music was much too loud and the manager turned it down. Thank goodness. The menu is extensive and features many soul food staples. The food was delicious and the wait staff was attentive. While they seemed excited by the cornbread, we felt it was too sweet. Portions were generous enough to enjoy fish from the seafood platter the following day.

it is a soul food restaurant so I figured I could not go wrong with ordering fried chicken and I was correct! It was seasoned well. My friend and I shared our side dishes(collard greens, yams, mac and cheese, and whipped mashed potatoes, and they were all tasty! She ordered the turkey winga ans said they were good too, but it is served with lots if gravy so if you do not want gravy, let them know! The peach cobbler is sweet, but good! Our server was nice and she took the time to answer so many of my questions since it was my 1st time there. I appreciate that and get would come back again.

The staff was awesome. The menu offers a nice variety. I have the lunch combo which was a salad and a cheeseburger. Fresh, hot and juicy. The others were just as equally satisfied. I sampled the pasta, steak and salmon. All were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place.

We booked a 'table' for a specific time and requested a booth, but ended up with a table right in the path of wait staff and people coming and going so it was not very private or romantic. However, the food was nice and the staff quite helpful. It was noisy though as there was a lot of people already seated and several still waiting. This was why we booked a table ahead of time to ensure a place without the wait. Tad expensive so not somewhere I would go regularly

We love eating at Chick-fil-A's. You can always count on the food being hot and fresh. For fast food this place is a winner. It is always crowded, but the drive-through and inside restaurant both offer fast service. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They seem to understand fast service with a smile. They offer the best fried chicken breast sandwich! My son loves the chicken minis for breakfast. They make a really good sweet tea lemonade mix!
