Good stop before catching airport shuttle.
Reviewed By C7551EFbrianhWe decided to stay the night before our flight from Athens. The hotel has a convenient shuttle to the airport. There is also a restaurant known as the Red Onion across the street. It serves good burgers and kebabs! Rooms are clean and come equipped with hair dryers. Note: The lights on the balcony stay on late at night and are not controllable from the room. There also is no patio furniture on the balcony.

A Great Place To Stay
Reviewed By JackieJ439My daughter and I were in Athens, on our way to Santorini, for one night. We needed a place conveniently located near the airport, as we were flying out early the next morning to Santorini. Fortunately, we chose the Double M. Nikos came and got us (late at night) at the airport and took us back to the airport the next morning. He even provided us with a European electrical adapter to keep! He was very polite and accommodating. He made our short stay easy peasy. Thank you, Nikos. I hope we can drop in again sometime. Super good value. A+ experience.

Disappointing Choice
Reviewed By spidey888It billed itself as an airport hotel but it is not so near. It is in a rather inconvenient location without any food within walking distance. However, the staff can order food to be delivered. The building exterior and surrounding seems to have seen better days and can be a put off. The room is ok but TV and tap are challenging. We used it as a 1-night layover for a next-day connecting flight but it is definitely not a hotel for a longer stay. In fact there should be much better choices for a truly airport hotel. Breakfast is included and that is a saving grace.

Great apartment, 10 minutes from Athens for airport
Reviewed By Traveller66We stayed overnight in one (of the 3) apartments owned by A&J, as our flight left early the next day. Our one could sleep 6-7 comfortably, very spacious and modern. A&J were friendly and very helpful hosts. Airport shuttle service worked seamlessly and good value (€12). Good local restaurant (Sindetiras) just a 10 minute walk away. Recommended for those needing somewhere close to Athens airport.

Definitely will be my new HOTEL for over night stays

Prompt & friendly taxi service at both ends of our journey. Greeted by Nicoklia & offered local wine. We sat in the courtyard enjoying this then loved our fresh prepared homecooked evening dinner. We met Claudia the owner who was a friendly warm hearted lady. I expressed an interest in her napkin holders & asked if it was possible to buy one as it was our 30th wedding anniversary & wanted something special to commemorate it. She actually gifted one to me with a big hug. Totally unexpected. Bonus was meeting Bruno their spaniel. It's more than just an airport stop over & we are looking forward to returning for longer.

Reviewed By Clara MWe stayed one night at the guest house on our way back home to Boston. The guest rooms are above Sotiris' home and in a safe neighborhood, 5 minutes walking distance from the center of town where you will find nice cafes and small restaurants. (Sotiris and his wife own the bakery behind the guest house but it was closed since it was Sunday.) Sotiris picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, which was well worth the extra fee for a stressless ride to the guest house. We also ordered the delicious and plentiful dinner made by his wife, which we enjoyed eating on the balcony. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. In the room there was a kettle, coffee and small treats but you have to bring your own bottled water if you don't feel comfortable drking the tap water. Sotiris is excellent at communicating via the phone and he and his wife are superb hosts.

Reviewed By 651DanielFlos bungalow, son prefabricados, las habitaciones muy pequeñas, llenas de peluches y camas ínfimas la ducha está rota que te se te cae en la cabeza , los elementos de cocina llenos de cal y sucios la dueña bastante borde, hay animales durmiendo e los sofás del porche , todo descuidado , la verdad que muy decepcionante y mas el precio, los taxis desde el aeropuerto se pueden coger con Uber 11 euros , la vuelta imposible con Uber y solo con el taxi que proporcionan , que cuesta 20 euros no paguéis mas intentan aprovecharse de la situación hablar directamente con el taxista por whasap , el sitio es penoso , sobre todo el bungalow, un timo pagar por dormir en este alojamiento, es decepcionante que se aprovechen así, una noche en este lugar valdría 20 euros de los peores sitios que me he alojado en varios años no aconsejaría a nadie

Reviewed By 928celestemWe arrived in Athens super early in the morning and were so glad for Galotel's transport waiting just out the door for us on time! Spiros was our driver and drove us to the hotel and also the next day drove us to the city. The stay was comfortable and clean and the next day we had delicious coffee and greek pastry for breakfast at the cafe right down stairs. We would definitively use this service and stay here again. It's very close to the airport and the attention is very professional.
