Our second meal at Caino, again, leaves me dreaming of when we can return. The restaurant decor is elegante and relaxing in every way. The service is professional and precise, but also very pleasant and friendly. The kitchen is without a doubt spectacular. We found everything served beautifully and the dishes creative, unique and absolutely delicious. Do splurge on one of the fabulous Deserts! So looking forward to our next trip back!

Spent three nights in Saturnia, but unfortunately only got to try here on our last night (otherwise we would have ate here every night!)
The owner is delightful, eager to explain every dish and take time to interact with his customers. His wife is the chef, so he's done well for himself!
Every course was interesting (accompanied by the owner's descriptions), and we had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner as a consequence.
Warning, it's closed every Thursday.
Can't wait to return. Food, service and ambience sublime, and the price (€109 for three including generous drinks) drastically less than the over-priced I Due Cippi over the road.
Well done Bacco & Cerere. Fabulous.

We won't return. All in all, a very strange experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt obvious that small children weren't welcome, so we got sat in the naughty corner, and waited, waited, and waited for service.
I asked for a gin and tonic, and the waiter looked at me as though I had two heads, and told me he had gin, but no tonic. 'We are a restaurant, not a bar', he said. 'You want Coke?' Who asks for a gin & Coke for heaven's sake?
I asked for a shandy/panache. 'We have beer, but no Sprite/lemonade. We are a restaurant, not a bar'.
I asked for a vodka and orange. 'I have vodka, but no orange. We are a restaurant, not a bar.'
I should have got the message by now. Buy a bottle of wine or Prosecco that you don't want, or lump it. By this time I was looking for a water Fountain in the square that was drinkable having just driven for six hours straight.
We ate. The food was good, but quite frankly, €180 for two adults and a little boy who had a very ordinary, very small bowl of pasta, seemed ridiculous.
Nice setting, good food, terrible service and made to feel like third-class citizens.
Total contrast to the restaurant across the road which was brilliant.

We were there during the off season so there weren't many places open but we hit the jackpot. Service was great and they made a point to remember our preferences and provide the extra information needed. Food was very tasty and the price was quite reasonable.

THE RESTAURANT PIU 'ANCIENT Manciano We are in Maremma in the province of Grosseto and precisely in the historical center of Manciano but despite this we are within easy reach and we have no parking problems. Our trattoria in the tradition, maintains the characteristic appearance and atmosphere of the old inn: two rooms well-kept, rustic and cozy, the tables are made of wood and summer are put in the open; from the window of one of the rooms you can admire a beautiful landscape and in clear nights you can see, on the horizon, the coast and the sea. Our motto (we sent to those who work with us) is: friendliness and helpfulness but also attention to the customer who should feel at home. Our kitchen is typically Maremma, simple, tasty and attentive to local products
Don't let the "trattoria" label throw you, this place is a gem of a ristorante. The owners are personable characters who will make you feel like a regular, and the food....It's simply amazing non-touristy fare that will demonstrate what Tuscan cooking is all about. Simple, flavorful options that kept us coming back for more.
Limited Seating, so call ahead to ensure a spot. Well worth the effort.

La Filanda Restaurant and Wine Bar is situated in the old walls, that in the past housed a Granary and then a production of raw yarn… restored with respect for the original structures. In a comfortable setting managed directly by the owners Gian Paolo and Barbara, you can enjoy Tuscan cuisine, interpreted in a modern key and respect for italian taste .Preference is given to Tuscan products, such as senese dressed pork products and maremmana meats, hand made pasta, ewe’s milk and goat’s cheeses .. The wine bar is a glass of wine, a piece of ripe pecorino cheese, a tasty slice of cured pork meats, an ample selection of Tuscan wines: Morellino di Scansano, Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Nobile di Montepulciano and all the other Super Tuscans are there… to suggest alternative itineraries and an invitation to visiting, tasting and also purchasing.
We were staying nearby and had a dinner where the chef came to take our order. The food and wine were delicious! I had the pork tenderloin and my husband the steak - delicious! What can I say ... thank you so much for your reviews so happy that you loved our restaurant! we hope you will get back soon! Kisses and hugs Barbara & Gian Paolo

If you can cope with having a parrot in a cage that makes sudden eruptive noises and a few beautiful rare whistles, and eating watching nightmare pictures on grey walls, you get very fine dishes and excellent wine. In particular we enjoyed a special spinach and ricotta soup, a tasty rabbit in a lovely prune and raisins sauce and a good enough pork in an apple sauces.

I visited with a local Italian friend on a Friday night at 10pm. The restaurant was in Full swing with large tables of friends and families with young children. I had the seasonal stuffed and fried zuchhini flower and the Florentine steak. The steak, to be honest, was not as good as steaks I have had in the USA or Argentina. But I am glad I tried the classic Tuscan presentation of steak. you have to order a min of 1 kilo. The cut of meat was shown to us before being cooked to rare - to medium rare. The restaurant is deep in the southern Tuscan countryside, near the border with Lazio. I felt like I was experience the 'real deal' of a small favorite Italian local spot.

This local pizzeria is well known by the locals because they won several prizes. Pizza is really good and there are several original ones.! Unfortunately the location of the restaurant , behind a petrol station and the decor of the restaurant ( there are paintings and statues of clowns everywhere) are not desirable.

Tuscan home cooking . Meat and fish . Always open for dinner , and for lunch only on holidays or high season.Tables outside . Foreign beers . Bread , pasta , desserts and digestive liqueurs are all homemade . Live music is performed by the owners spouses : Nanni ( the chef) and Sonia ( the director of the hall ) . Friendliness , simplicity , passion and love for food and for customers . A winning combination for exciting moments , to try ...
Slow service, half of the time the waiter didn't hear us. Maybe, he's deaf?..
I ordered a meal - wild boar. The smell was too strong and too spiced! They said that this type of meat is quite strong... so why the hell add even more spices then???
Wine was bad too. We founding better wine in other restaurants.
