Stopped in on a Friday night with friends. Tried a couple flights, they are changing beers constantly. A
Couple hard ciders too. We had dinner as well; someday sandwich, buffalo chicken dip, white pepper sandwich, where'd the cheese go sandwich. Nachos with pork was very tasty. The pizzas looked good and we all had food envy. All our food rocked! Staff is fun and friendly. I've been here several times and always have a great time. Love this place!

We stopped here for breakfast recently & I'm sure glad we did! I had an omelet that came loaded with ham & cheese. It was accompanied by hash browns & toast..not just ordinary toast but absolutely delicious home made wheat toast! They offer many different kinds of bread choices all freshly made. It's hard to decide what kind to order.
My husband had the hash & eggs & said it was delicious. Being diabetic, he had to take it easy on the bread which was no easy task!
They have loaves of bread for purchase ( I bought 2 different kinds!) We can't wait until our travels find us in Mancelona again for another meal here!

I ended up coming here 3 times on my trip Up North this year. All 3 times I ordered the Bourbon Street Steak. Awesome steak. Delicious every time. It comes with Bread that is excellent. One meal I got French Onion Soup that was good. The other two visits I got a salad that was large and very fresh. All 3 visits I got Mashed Potatoes that were excellent. The Last visit I got a piece of Chocolate Cake to go, it was an excellent piece of cake. Also on the Last Visit I ate with a friend that had the Perch Sandwich. He stated it was excellent.
The Service was excellent.
Overall 4.5 Stars. Since I have to round I'll round up. I will be back next year.

At the start of our vacation we stopped for breakfast with our three grandchildren. I had a delicious corn beef hash (the corn beef is made on site). Our grandchildren had a well presented French toast which looked like it was made with homemade bread. They licked the platter clean. However, the waitress seemed more interested in talking with fellow locals than serving us.

We just loved our breakfasts here and came back several times during our two week vacation. The food is fresh, portions are generous and the price is right. We loved the sausage and the blueberry pancakes were just delicious. They serve bakery items and we took home pieces of raspberry pie that we enjoyed. Warm, Up North atmosphere.

Coming from paddling on the river, we stopped at the Pizza Shoppe in Mancelona for dinner. We ordered three pizzas and they all were great. They offer flavored crusts and we picked the garlic/Parmesan, and it added a great flavor to an already good tasting pizza. The people there were as nice as they could be and I would go there again in a heartbeat if I didn’t live 1200 miles away.

Went on a weeknight for dinner. Husband had meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy (the special) and said it was very good. Sandwich options were the only other choices so I had a chicken club. It was. Quite tasty. Each night is a different special.

The Pelican's Nest is always a good option for either appetizers for full meals. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy all the sports that are happening this is your place.
After we ate there we found out from a friend that Roy had passed away and we were quite sad about that. The man put his heart and soul into the restaurant and I think that's why it is such a success today.

I usually get the meat lover and the supreme, a two-fer price. They only make round pizza, but that's okay. You can get flavored crust if you like. The service is fast and you can dine in or carry out. They also deliver. My only disappointment is that they are not open for lunch.

My husband and I come up every couple of months. We always eat at Sarducci's! This place has great Italian food! Probably some of the best food in Bellaire! Mike the bartender is the best and will make sure your experiance is perfect!
