Cedar Place

What a bargain!

Reviewed By Wathando

This place is quite affordable compared to some places within town that are even not better than this place—clean spacious air-conditioned rooms, clean beddings, spacious bathrooms, safe, small lounge inside the executive rooms, balcony with great views, kitchen with assorted kitchenware. Restaurant service is standard though, not so many options on the menu and it takes a while to have your food ready etc. Paid mk50k for a night.

This is such a friendly peaceful hotel and I do like staying here, but it does have some short comings. It is a steep price for what you get. Rooms are spacious and clean but there is some mouldy smell in some bathrooms. The garden is nice so a table and chairs somewhere to sit in the garden would not have hurt…. The internet does not reach the rooms and breakfast is rather basic. Regarding the restaurant: Order your dinner an hour before you want it and you will be fine.

This hotel is so roomy and provides many options for fresh air. If you want to jog or walk around the hotel you will get a nice experience. There is a very good gym also. The restaurant is big with options to sit outside

Nice enough for a short stay

Reviewed By davebowater

Stayed 2 nights, one at each end. Clean but not an inspiring venue. Seemed to be far more affected by Malaŵi’s power outages than anywhere else. Even one session of no running water. There is a generator but it was too loud and close to our house. Three bedrooms and only one bathroom
