We walked into Waco Diner at 1:30 on a Sunday. I saw a woman I know and stopped to chat. The waitress immediately rushed over and said that they closed at 2:00 and we had to order. I sat down and had just opened my menu when the waitress insisted I order. I quickly picked the first thing I saw. (In retrospect, I should have asked for a minute.) After bringing our food, she never checked back with us and slapped our bill on the table without ever asking if we wanted dessert or anything else. My sandwich was adequate and the fries were good. However, I will not return.

There are few choices in Eastport right now for dinner; this is one that does a decent job though a large sign outside advertises that it is for sale. The meal we had there was adequate, service a bit inexperienced though it is early in the season and help is very, very hard to find in Maine in the summer. If you are in town best give it a try.

Our first night in Eastport and Happy Crab was recommended so off we go. We were seated right away on the patio and the party was on going already. Our order of lobster rolls was promptly taken and shortly delivered. However that’s where the service slowed. I had to get up for more napkins. We were never given forks and my wife had to ask another waitress for forks. We got one! But the food was very good with lots of lobster and to their credit, they were busy that night. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

Stopped here after having checked out West Quoddy Head which is the easternmost point in the US. Ordered the lobster roll basket ($18.95). Wife ordered the fish and chips ($13.95) while the boys both had the cheeseburger basket ($7.50). Oldest son upgraded to onion rings ($1 extra) which proved to be a great call.Service was fast and friendly. Food was prepared promptly and served piping hot. Burger baskets were a hit as were the fish and chips. Lobster roll had large chunks and came on crisp bread. Upon first bite though, the lobster texture was such that I was pretty certain it was previously frozen. Regardless, I polished off the lobster roll and chased it down with perfectly cooked fries.Overall, this was a good dinner as all-in for our family of four was roughly $50. Worth checking out if you need to get a quick bite to eat or just want to pick up some drinks.

This is a seaside restaurants with outdoor seating only, serving fresh lobster, crab, clams, mussels and scallop dishes in a variety of ways. The chowda is to die for (not your standard, flour base, but a creamy seafood infused broth loaded with yummies).

A recent stay in Eastport had us drooling to eat dinner at Quoddy Bay Lobster. Drove in and it was closed! Couldn't believe they closed at 6:oo p.m.! A beautiful location, lots of people in town, and closed! Found an open restaurant, and there were some, and we had a delightful dinner. Still disappointed at Quoddy. And at the height of the season.

We had a breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Inn during our 3-day stay (at another location). Part of this is it's availability, which has very accommodating hours. However, all of our meals were good, the location is perfect and we had excellent service, especially the lunch and dinner meals with Jessica. Very good option for at least one if not more meals in Lubec.

When you arrive you need to remember just how small this village of Lubec really is and Lubec brewing gives you a good feel for the local atmosphere. I really appreciate that they brew their own and are committed to sustainability. The food seems to vary here and is not focused on seafood. Consistent with other quirks, the hours and days open also varies. You may be able to catch enjoyable music on certain nights. It’s an experience worth taking.

We tried this place one night in Lubec and really liked it. It is small, but has a very nice menu with many Haddock options along with pastas, chicken and steak. It was mainly locals dining there, so we knew it would be good, and it was. If you visit Lubec, don't miss this quaint restaurant. Don't go late though as they close at 7.

The Tavern was very busy on a Saturday night, and we could understand why after our meal. The menu has a wide range of options, from seafood to duck to meatloaf. Our party had the full range of options, and I can personally recommend the roast duck. While our server was very busy, she was working hard and on top of everything. This was the best meal we had in Lubec - highly recommended when visiting. It's a little pricier than most of the other options, but well worth the price (and then some!).
