Reviewed By Charlotte RI’ve stayed at poorly rated hotels and budget all inclusive and usually been very happy but I am very disappointed with this hotel most because The card keys for the rooms open other hotel rooms. I accidentally went into another room with my room key! I paid €28 for a safe which can be pulled open even when “locked” I ended up carry all of my valuables everywhere as nothing was secure in my hotel room or safe! On a 14 night stay I’ve never once seen the water slide switched on The food is exactly the same for lunch and evening meal every day - potatoes, chicken stew and rice and salad. The food is very nicely cooked etc but it was just soo boring having the same thing for lunch and evening meal every single day. Most of the items on at breakfast are unrecognisable to me, there’s like a red and green curry dish, usually something made from potatoes and then eggs. They didn’t even have toast. The drinks are poor, no branded soft drinks. Owned brand cola, orangeage, lemonade etc and no diet/light options. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. They didn’t speak English but we used Google translate. The wifi is very slow but it is free. Lots of lights in the hotel don’t work so for example whole corridors in total darkness, the light switch by our bed didn’t work so had to turn light off on other side of the room to get into bed and theres never any toilet roll in the communal toilets. We’ve stayed in alanya before and absolutely love the place. It was around the equivalent of 40p per person to catch a bus from the back of the hotel to the main town or to kleopatra beach and whilst there’s no bus time table they are very frequent we just went out and I don’t think we ever waited more than 15 mins or so for a bus. Around a mile or so walk from the hotel is mahmutlar which is much smaller than the main town shop etc wise but is very nice still and has a lovely market. Had a really good holiday but just was very concerned about the room etc being not secure and the food being boring. I would say if you have kids it would be a very poor hotel as there’s not really any kid friendly food and the kids pool and play ground cannot been seen from the outside bar, main pool etc so you would be very isolated watching your kids play in the pool or play area and couldn’t go to get a drink

Reviewed By pat12xI really don't know why this hotel has such bad reviews. It was everything fine except drinks. They had only gin and vodka + wine or beer. And no tonic. Only sprite, coke and variuos juices. The staff was really helpful. When something breaks, they quickly come and help. The hotel was clean and our rooms too. Cleaning every day.

Reviewed By Richard_Milburn1970If I could rate this in the minus, I would. Unless you’re German you’ll hate it. The hotel and staff also lie to holiday companies when you complain. There are ZERO English speakers. A couple of staff have pigeon English at best. The rooms are terrible and very uncomfortable hard beds with a hessian sack as a sheet. There was no buffet at all, just what you were served which was all German and ZERO menu to read/translate. One plus point was that the cafe outside is really nice. Blatantly lied to out holiday company about their facilities etc and reason we checked out after one night. The locals know this hotel as a ONE STAR hotel. They laugh about how the stars on the sign outside have been falling off one by one and when they’re replaced, they fall off again. That was from the cafe owner.

Reviewed By 13sergeychIt was our first 4 stars hotel. I was surprised height quality of service. All staff nicely comunicate and ready to solve any question imidiatly. Management of hotel is very good, everything is clean, meal’s fresh, response for any request coming in short time. Restaurant on the roof is really good idea, animators for children really like their job, sauna is free during all day, cleaning of rooms every day, evening shows are amazing, three different pools, beach bar and separate areas on the beach, center of the city in 5 minutes. It’s good place for family vacation.

Reviewed By Alan LThe room was very nice, cleaned every day and sheets changed, all the staff were very good and looked after us well, The food was well cooked and very tasty, there might not have been a great choice but what there was was ample for the number of holidaymakers at the hotel, the whole place was kept very clean and we felt very safe there. We had a very enjoyable time there, and would recommend it anytime.

Hotel from HELL

Our transfer to the hotel broke down 4 times on the way their arriving at the hotel hours after we left the airport we finally arrived for the to be no food available for us or our two toddlers. On arrival we were put in a room with one double bed despite us having booked for two adults and two children. They brought in a cot for my two year old that was stained and disgusting and a fold out uncomfortable single bed for my friends son. The air con didn’t work and after I complained they said they could not move me till the morning despite the 40 degree heat for our toddlers. I complained the next morning and was made to pay an extra 100 despite my room having stated it was a ‘sea view’ as they said that was the only room available. Again the air con didn’t work after numerous phone calls we got someone to ‘fix’ it which made no difference I would of been more helpful to hold a hand held fan at my two year olds daughters face. The room was disgusting dirty and mould ridden in the shower which barely created enough water to wash a mouse. The food was not only unappetising and tasted disgusting but give us all food poisoning. Me and one of our toddlers had to receive drips and medication costing just under 500 from the in hotel ‘doctor’ who I would describe at best as a perverted old man failing at being a doctor in a hospital so try’s to exploit English women who are ill and in need of care. Not only did he try and kiss me while I was vomiting with a drip in my arm he then offered me a ‘lower’ price for me to kiss him it’s safe to say I declined and paid the 500 pound bill. The harassment from the hotel employees was disgusting every day I was made to feel like an object I couldn’t go one place in the hotel without being asked for my name if I was English followed by ‘come to room for sex’ after declining and asking the employers to stop talking to me I even went to complain at the help desk in the hotel. It didn’t stop the hotel employees making disgusting remarks and over touching me in front of my daughter. The ‘restaurant’ manager was one of the worst for harassment every day making remarks about my body trying to talk to me with me kindly declining as I with my daughter to the point where he was even asking me to get a photo with him every morning lunch and dinner. Each day I would try my best to look at the floor and get past him and each day he would try wrap his arm around and take us to a table yet he didn’t do this to any of the other guests. Its safe to say we didn’t eat at the hotel for the full of our painful 14 days after the groping harassment and the food poisoning. The hotel pool was dirty and the sides and bar had ants circulating every day. I couldn’t wait to get me and my daughter home purely to have her in a safe and CLEAN environment. To save up my money for a year to be so let down by such a disgusting hotel breaks my heart. I can’t stress enough that this wouldn’t of even got one star if I could of left it with zero stars I would of! Definitely not 5 star and not suitable for children or family’s there is no night time activity’s or entertainment there is a man with basically a cos player who plays Turkish music on a night time which is what they class as ‘entertainment’ and yet another man who would harass us with comments on a night making us not want to sit in the hotel with our children. You could not pay me to stay in this unaccommodating hotel again.
