Rosie's Restaurant

We are a family-owned and operated breakfast and lunch restaurant, and Rosie is celebrating 30 years in business! We work incredibly hard 7 days a week to ensure the quality and freshness of our food reflects the amount of time and care we put into it. Rosie herself is always in the kitchen very early in the morning baking her homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, desserts and more! Two of her sons Mathew and Britton have been raised in the business for the past 30 years, and hardly leave the line to gurantee the consistency we provide for you with our food. Our "Rosie Girls" are hard-working women who are very special to us (family and friends), and our loyal staff works endlessly to follow our high expectations. We do our best to make your eggs how you like, remedy any mistake we may make (we're only human!) and include you on our family's journey. We love our faithful regulars, new friends, and ever-growing community of breakfast lovers! And remember..."If you are grouchy, irritable, or just plain mean, there will be a $10 charge just for putting up with you!" ;)

This my first time, and the breakfast was delicious! I had French Toast made with homemade cinnamon bread, eggs, bacon and home fries. Everything was hot and serve by delightfully humorous waitress. It seems likes she's been there for a while and knows her customers. It was very refreshing.

Yes, OMG! This place serves wonderful food, although we knew in advance that it would. We'd stayed here once, many years earlier and this restaurant was great back then as well. The owners, Kevin & Jen have brought some great cooking talent onto their staff,...MoreThank you so much Larry! I love the oysters as well. We have selected oysters from the Boothbay, Maine area. I think they are pristine and so delicious! Thursdays are 2 BUCKS a SHUCK. Just sayin'..... Jen

Scandinavian Baking

Reviewed By Larry46713 - Park Ridge, New Jersey

While on vacation from NJ, I saw an advertisement in the local paper and put this place on my "bucket list" of places to go in the North Conway area. The "shop" is located in the parlor of Betty's house, and she sells a variety of Scandinavian breads, etc. all baked with love in her kitchen. What started literally as a cart in front of her house, grew into a space occupying her home. There are a couple of tables to sit and enjoy coffee or tea (free to all as a Swedish tradition) and great conversation with Betty. The baked goods like almond coffee cake and cardamom raisin bread are great (this is a restaurant review) but the friendly company is the highlight. The shop seems to be the "hub" of the community, for young and old, families and singles. It may be a bit out of the way, but it is well worth the trip!

Hobbs Tavern & Brewing Company

Reviewed By arewehavingfunyet4 - Portland, Maine

This is seriously one of the top 5 places I have ever been price gouged. I paid 10 dollars for feasibly 25 potato chips topped with cooled cheese sauce that tasted like american cheese, flour & water, complimented by 1/2 a slice of precooked bacon and COUNT THEM--I did--6 pieces of diced tomato. It was perhaps the saddest thing I have ever encountered getting.
I will say the dunkel made by henniker is delicious.
You know it is freezing in there when all the servers are rubbing their hands huddled at the fire place--5 of them....I mean freezing in there.
My opinion is the owners of this place traveled the country going to slick new breweries, blew all their money on decor and brewery equipment and servers because it is a huge place so now they are skimping on heat and food to make up for it as well as I witnessed a gentleman pay over 50 dollars for a case of 12 oz cans of beer--are you kidding me? I could be out of the loop on beer cost....but that seems really high.
If the beer was better and the food was even half way decent or edible and I could be guaranteed I wont freeze to death I might entertain going back. I don't think anything will change because poor unsuspecting tourists and beer snoodies will think this place wonderful because it is pretty and they make a sour and a milk stout that is perhaps the sweetest sugary beer I have ever experienced.

Grammy's pies are simply amazing - we've had many of them, and they've all been great ! (She has more than 100, including dinner pies). In addition to pies, she also has other desserts, other dinner options and even does a "pre-show" dinner before the Barnstormers as well as catering.

She's incredibly busy in the summer, so call ahead and order your pie - you can't go wrong with any of them !

Look elsewhere especially if you are not staying at this resort restaurant... The food was overpriced significantly. Three of us had the buffet dinner, and one ordered off menu. Most of the items on the buffet were overcooked especially the pasta. Many items I picked were also cold. The only thing that was decent from the hot items, were the onion rings. I tried to fill up on salad.... $125 worth.... Sad because we were on vacation, and I was looking forward to this place. The only positive I can say is the waitstaff was extremely nice and professional.

Community Market & Deli

Reviewed By tektektek - Hopewell Junction, New York

We wanted a quick lunch, so my wife and I grabbed some sandwiches, chips, and drinks from this out-of-the-way spot on NH113, near the famous Madison Boulder. They were okay- not the best, by far not the worst, we have ever had. The ordering was fairly quick, service okay. If you want a break from a sandwich chain, this is a good option.
