Das Plaka ist schon etwas wie eine Institution, allerdings wäre eine Auffrischung des Äußeren mal notwendig. Der Rest nämlich ist, wie man es gerne hat: Freundliches Personal, eine sehr umfangreiche Speisekarte und gut zubereitete und gewürzte Gerichte. Der fünfte Stern fehlt, weil man etwas polieren könnte. Aber ansonsten klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren mit unserem Sportverein ca. 25 Frauen zum Weihnachtsessen dort und alle waren durch die Bank zufrieden! Wir hatten einige Tage vorher unsere Bestellungen schon abgegeben, damit alles schneller und reibungsloser von statten geht und es hat alles wunderbar geklappt! Das Essen war lecker und der Service auch, die Preise sind angemessen !! Das Lokal erstrahlt mittlerweile in neuem modernen Flair und Glanz. Das sieht einfach toll aus! Muss man gesehen haben .. Ausserdem gibt es dort noch einen grösseren Raum für festliche Veranstaltungen, welcher ebenfalls neu renoviert wurde und auch super aussieht! Also alles in allem ist es sehr empfehlenswert!!

The house is really awesome. It's gor that brick arch wine cellar roof and a wall that looks like an antique kitchen. It has oaintings on the wall, including below the coal chute window. Stilvoll wie ein echtes, altes Kaffeehaus mit vielen kleinen, liebevollen Details: damit punktet das Café Wesseling direkt schon beim Hereinkommen. Dann die Theke, die vor lauter Köstlichkeiten nur so überbordet. Man hat die Qual der Wahl.
Wir entschieden uns für einen klassischen gedeckten Apfelkuchen und eine Obsttorte mit Cappuccino. Beides wurde höchst freundlich serviert und war köstlich.
Vorne im offenen, lichten Café unter sehenswertem Lüster sitzt man etwas mehr im Zentrum, weiter hinten ganz gemütlich auf Samtpolstern und fast schon intim.
Das Café serviert auch einen Mittagstisch und Frühstück. Ein wirklich schöner Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen oder in gemütlicher Runde mit Freunden zusammen zu sitzen. Komme sehr gerne wieder.

Nice place with good food. Very strangley they do not accept a British visa card!!! May be useful to know this before ordering. Only place I've ever been to across Europe that would not accept UK cards!!!!

Stayed here for just one night, but found the room to be very cosy and clean. The guest house is very old (1628 I think the manager said) and has a few period features. The bar is very welcoming, good beer. Staff are great. Breakfast is excellent-proper German stuff with breads, meats, cheese and freshly boiled eggs laid out on your table, rather than the usual buffet. Very reasonable price for a guesthouse right in the centre of the old town. Only downside is that it's very hard to get to with a car-no map on the website, I got within a couple of hundred metres and parked in the public car park and walked the rest of the way.

Very nice warm, cozy family restaurant. I went there with my colleague for dinner. He had soup & Lasagne and I had salad with baked penne with meat souce. Mine was delicious and my colleague felt the same way about soup & lasagne. I know I will be back here again and again on my trip to Ludenscheid.

Good Italian restaurant in an otherwise pretty uneventful culinary environment. The boss always has fresh fish and a steak that is to die for. I never had pizza, but I heard it is also good. The interior design is a bit old fashioned but the good service and the great food make you forget these shortcomings. Parking can be a bit of an issue, just drive further down and park at the school.

Stratos is a good Greek restaurant, where you can have all popular Greek dishes - salads (tzatziki, greek salad), grill (gyros, suvlaki). You can have them takeaway or eat them in the place. Service is good - quick and friendly, while prices are reasonable. Overall a good place to have a Greek dinner with a few German beers or maybe with Greek ouzo.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Mal hier und haben das Buffet gewählt. Die verschiedenen Fisch-, Fleisch-, Gemüse- und Sushivarianten waren Standard und absolut in Ordnung, boten aber auch nichts Neues. Das Restaurant ist hell und sauber. Es ist sehr gut besucht. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.
