Wir hatten einen Winzerkäse und zwei Weizenbiere. Der Käse war sehr lecker. Der Camembert im Schinkenmantel gebacken war sehr kräftig aber gut. Mit Rotweingele und Zwiebel-Chutney, sowie selbst gebackenem Walnussbrot wurde dieser Geschmack noch abgerundet. Das Restaurant liegt in der FuÃgängerzone von Soltau. Es ist sehr gepflegt und ordentlich.Gemütlich fanden wir auch die Strandkörbe, in denen wir bequem Urlaubsgefühle nachempfinden konnten.

Falls man das Hotel nicht verlassen möchte, kann man hier etwas aus der grossen Speisekarte wählen, es gibt so ziemlich alle Klassiker: Pizza, Schnitzel, Steaks, usw. Und die Schnitzel, die wir bekamen waren gut. Das Personal ist nett, aber ein bisschen chaotisch und eher "effektiv" als gastfreundlich. Uns hat das Ganze nichts ausgemacht, weil wir mit einem Säugling da waren und recht müde und einfach entspannt was essen wollten. Für diesen Zweck war das Restaurant perfekt. Aber eher weniger zu empfehlen, wenn man einen schönen Abend in einem Restaurant plant.

Dont take me wrong, the food is good, but the management and the staff is not very professional: - christmass buffet was extremely crowded like in a train station- food was cold- the drinks came when we had finished our food already- only a part of the people on our table had been asked for drinks, others did need to run after the waiters- response form management: "sorry it's so busy here today" (on christmass where everybody had to make a reservation...)Schade dass Sie nicht zufrieden waren!

Tasty food, well prepared and served. Very attentive staff - English speaking chef did his best to translate the menu. Unfortunately it's common problem in Germany to communicate in any other language than German. Great lemonade. German dishes are large so beware when ordering them

If you are in the area then i would definitely recommend this restaurant to eat in. The food was brilliant, the staff were friendly and polite and the service was quick. The food and drink was well priced. I would highly recommend eating here

This restaurant offers delicious food in a cosy environment. They serve a LOT on the plates, you do not need to walk out hungry from this place. Good value for your money, it was really not expensive! I only find one thing a bit strange, I asked the guy from the staff to pay by credit card and he told me it wasn't possible so I went to the ATM right outside but it was out of order. When I told him it was broken it was ok to use credit card all ot a sudden.Overall a great visit though!

5 of us ate in what was the Officers Mess of Bournemouth Barracks when we were all stationed there in 1976 !!The building looks great, the copper brewing vessels are impressive, sadly the menu was less than inspiring but even worse - ok I know it is a brewery, but to only have one red wine on the list which was an appallingly bad Italian Merlot is not good, there was also only one white.Our nostalgia urges were fulfilled, our appetites were sadly not.
