Nettes Ambiente, mit etlichen Plätzen, dennoch erscheint eine Reservierung sinnvoll. Die Karte ist typisch, die Speisen hingegen besser als der Durchschnitt. Sehr schmackhaft und appetitlich zubereitet. Der Service ist freundlich und flott. Die Preise sind nicht günstig, die Portionen nicht üppig. Die Cassata ist genial!!Insgesamt absolut zu empfehlen.

I was at Maximilian in July 2015. We were sitting outside on the cosy veranda. Food came fast, we had pasta, steaks, fish and pizza. Everything was totally delicious. The boss, Toni is a great guy. Entertaining, reads every wish from your lips and always likes to drink a little Grappa with you. If you are in Syke looking for a nice cosy place to spend an evening and have some good food come to Maximilian.

We liked this place. Beautiful buildings on the calm countryside. Nice, quiet and clean rooms. Fun with all the animals nearby. They have horses, goats, rabbits and of course a cat. Just like a farm on the countryside but with a countryside inn/pub/golf club-feeling.Though, at this moment this place is in big need of more staff and a culinarily inspirational trip for the chef.We felt with the lonely young guy who tried to take care of the whole, almost fully seated restaurant together with the chef(?) and the newly employed man at the bar.Of course he forgot our orders and of course one couple had to wait half an hour before they could order.He did everything that was in his power for making it work and in the same time being nice and polite and excusing the situation.On to that he had a couple of not so nice people on a table that behaved rudely.So, management - start working! This place has great potential.And do take good care of that man who showed heart for his work and great responsibility. You should give him an extra week of paid vacation for that Sunday!We slept well and the breakfast was ok. When checking out someone had put their dinner on our room number. But it was handled professional when they got to know that it wasn't accurate.Will probably return if in the area, because we liked the hotel part.

Von auÃen - geht garnicht und innen DDR-Charme, es fehlt die Discokugel. Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Weinkarte überschaubar und schlicht. Das Essen war gut, aber nicht ausgefallen. Aber das Preis/- Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

The food was really well prepared and tasty. Portions are really big and we got ouzo shots for free. The owner was really polite and friendly. The prices are normal. Excellent choice for traditional greek food.
