Huge portions, authentic greek food, attentive staff and an amazing atmosphere! Not to mention the endless shots alcohol available if you want it.Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Nettes einfaches Restaurant mit viel Fisch auf der Karte sowie einfachen weiteren Gerichten.Freitags Fischbuffet mit mehr als fünf Sorten Fisch für lediglich 12,50 pro Person.Netter, typisch friesicher Inhaber der noch selbst in der aküche steht.Alte rustikale Einrichtung mi leichtem Museumscharakter.

We have been back here a few times...Place is located right at Dornumersiel harbour. Certainly not a fancy place to dine, but quality is excellent! You can eat from a simple fish sandwich to a wider variety of fresh fish in different forms. TIP : eat Backfisch with german potatoe salad and a Jever beer. Unbeatable! Place is always packed in and outside.

Wir bekamen eine Empfehlung für diesen Fischimbiss. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Mein Mann hatte Scholle mit Bratkartoffeln. Die Scholle war top, aber die Bratkartoffeln teilweise ziemlich âkrossâ. Ich hatte Backfisch mit Folienkartoffel und einem kleinen Salat. Der Backfisch sah auf den ersten Blick toll aus, war aber extrem fettig. Es war auch leider mehr Teig, als Fisch. Die Folienkartoffel war ok, hätte aber etwas mehr Quark vertragen können. Der Salat war nichts. Möhren, Bohnen, Gurken und Kraut schwammen in einer FertigsalatsoÃe. Generell hätte auch alles mehr Würze vertragen können. Die Frischfischtheke sah appetitlich aus, können wir aber nicht bewerten, da nicht getestet. Diese Bewertung ist einzig für den Imbiss.

This restaurant/cafe/lounge area is situated about 50 meters from the beach but is hidden behind large sand dunes so you cant see the sea from it.... However if you've spent most of your day at the beach or just cycling around Norderney it's the ideal place to stop and eat/rest. It is very busy and at time it's hard to find a seat... But be patient and you'll get one as people move on fairly fast. The seating outside is large comfortable couches. They tend to be hard to get as people spend ages just sitting outside. Service is fairly prompt but they are very busy. Ice cream is served in tin mugs and is very nice. Service is friendly. We sat in the lounge part closest to the beach around the central fireplace... It was comfortable and had a nice breeze blowing through. They do evening meals but you must book first and they are booked out a few days in advance..... We didn't book. Waiters were seen polishing wine glasses ready for the evening... Laying tables. Well worth a visit... Many years ago it was just a small kiosk! Norderney is in fact going upmarket slowly. Close by there is a massive parking place for bicycles... And also a carpark. Buses run the the "Weisse Duene" too but I'm not sure how regularly. From the town to WD is about 20 mins on a bike... Our son 6 did it twice in one day.

Wir bekamen abends nur mit einer Reservierung Zutritt, die Zeit wurde uns zugeteilt. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich. Der Service funktioniert, mehr kann man dazu nicht sagen.

Quite different to the normal ostfriesisches Restaurant is Kaethe&Karl.The location is an old blacksmith house and tools and memorabilia are all around.Food was good and service friendly. No problem to recommend the place

Here you enjoy friendly staff as well as your table neighbors. With my wife together, we each tasted a different fish for supper. The decorations of the restaurant give you the feeling of âin the old daysâ. ... in Ermangelung einer Alternative, waren wir hier essen. Der Service war bemüht, teils freundlich, teils pampig, je nachdem welche Kellnerin gerade an den Tisch kam. Das Essen war gut und die Portionen groÃ, da gab es nichts zu meckern. Es hat nur sehr lange gedauert. Von der Bestellung bis zum Essen sind 1,5 Stunden vergangen. Mit Kindern ganz eindeutig zu lang!
