Our favorite Italian was closed tonight because of Swiss national day and we wanted to try out something new. While living in. The area since more than five years still cannot believe we have missed out on this great and stylish place. Attention to detail was good, also for our kids 3&6 yo, the caipirinha tagliatelle, mushroom tagliatelle and the more simple, but still delicious basil/tomato spaghetti were good. A shame we had to go to a different place to get ice cream for the kids, something they don't feature while the other Deserts are classics of the Italian cuisine, e.g. tiramisu and the likes. We will be back - soon!

This Chinese Restaurant is located in a small tower close to the train station. We planned to travel with the car train from Lörach to Hamburg. The start of a journey through Europe. We reserved a table in this restaurant. My wife has the tandoori chicken, I had the tikka masala chicken. Both menus were delicious. The service was friendly and quick. The price not too high. We will come again.

Today I was back at Gasthaus Kranz for a business lunch for 30 Eur: Variation vom Räucherlachs mit
Blattsalaten, Maispoulardenbrust mit Balsamico, Schalotten und Apfel, Kartoffel Püree, Orangenmousse mit frischen Beeren.
Today the meal was a little bit too salted. The service was slow and not so friendly.
I hope next time will be better

We had there a perfect late lunch (15:30), Tapas, meat and desserts were just delicious. The service was really nice. May be the secret is to come there, when the restaurant is totally empty, but it was perfect, thank you! The bill was a bit more than 110 euro for 4 adults and child

We were only in town for one night and this restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel staff. It was great weather so we had our dinner outside on the balcony which has a great view over the square (bonus point scored)! I ordered fish (Dorade) and my wife had a salad. Both dishes were very tasty and fresh. Well prepared, not typical German but international. Service was quick (not rushed), efficient and friendly and the white wine we had (from the area of course) was nicely chilled and very good. The bill we had to pay was very reasonable. Altogether we were a very happy couple of customers.

I love the idea of having coffee & ice cream at night. Such a civilized alternative to having to drink in a bar. This Ice Cafe is well renowned in Lörrach & lived up to our expectations. Seating both inside and out. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, but we'll be back in sunny weather for more.

Just came home from enjoying a beautiful meal at Villa Feer. We were given a gift certificate from a friend that goes here everytime they are in town. Now we know why. We have the Sweet Potato Soup and Bouilabaisse for starters. Beautiful presented and full flavor! So good! Then for the main course we had the Zander Filet, and the Beef Fillet. All meals were so well done...Beef melted in your mouth. ZanderFilet was so most. Not only was the meal very satisfying, the atmosphere was very quaint and enjoyable. The restaurant is in an old house, so the rooms were smaller and made it very easy to have conversation without so much noise. Then to top off the evening, we were given a nice complementary dish of cookie with our coffee...nice touch. Then the Chef and owner, Kathrine came over and we had a very nice conversation with her. So friendly. This is the kind of place we love going to and will continue to visit here. Truly a very enjoyable experience! There is an outdoor setting as well for warmer weather.

This Sunday 5th of june, we had decided to visit the town of Lörrach, and of course have a meal in a Restaurant. We found "Poseidon" thanks to Tripadvisor. My girlfriend has already been in Greece and has got a good souvenir about all the food she ate over there.
We have been impressed by all the choice, a lot of things are available, and seem to be really greek (well, at least it has got greek names !).
The place in itself was rather pleasant and they have also some tables outside.
We had some starters (and a free Ouzo) and the main course. Both were a bit disappointing ! It was not bad for sure, but really nothing special !
I took something with meat (can't remember the name) and... Come on ! It was obviously too much ! (Although I have been able to eat the whole thing because I like to eat ) But, I do not come in such a restaurant to have quantity ! I come here to have quality ! If I want Quantity I would go to a random 'Kebab restaurant' !
Problem : Although the host team was pleasant, they let us enter in the restaurant AND indeed, the kitchen was closing at this time.... SO : We had not finished the starters and a waitress came to put the main course on the table ! And explained to us that we will not be able to order dessert and café because they were closing ! Euhm ! Why let us enter if they know that they won't be able to give us food ? They should had asked us what do we want and if it would have been a little something it would have been ok , and otherwise we would have found another restaurant !
Well, we went to another place to have a dessert and a café !
+ : Be carefull, have some cash or Maestro card, because they do not accept Visa and Mastercard ! As we have only Visa and Mastercard, we had to find a bankomat to get some cash to pay the bill...
Suggestion : instead of the tight black outfits for the waitresses, they could been dress with some kind of traditionnal outfits or for example, at least blue and white clothes, which make think about Greece. But well, that's really a little detail.

The restaurant is located in Lörrach, at the beginning of the city center coming from Basel.
Typical meat greek dishes, which are the recommended ones.
The greek salad is far from the one you can have in Greece, so it is not recommended.
Obviously, it tries to compromise with the German cuisine taste (e.g salad as starter), but overall good and recommended.
Prices a bit high but in line with pther restaurant close to the Swiss border.
