We ordered potato enchiladas to go for fourteen. They were on time, delicious, and they provided plenty of their green salsa.

Looking for something different we ate at Mexican restaurant near this Mexican bakery. After our meal we decide we could use something sweet. So in we went. Not being a fan of most Mexican pastries I had low expectations. We decided on a variety, 75 cents each, and out to our car we went. Man was I wrong. They were all excellent. So back in we went to try a few more. Again excellent. This was the highlight of our Long Praire visit and will be returning when ever in the area.

We like to go to Hats Off for the bright and sunny atmosphere, the proprietors friendly nature, the good coffee, the great book shop, and of course the absolutely remarkable selection of hats. It's all worth driving to -- or staying in -- Long Prairie for.

We travel a lot within the state and love to stop and grab an ice cream cone when going through Long Prairie, Minnesota. The restaurant has a drive-thru which we use. The wait staff are courteous and efficient. The grounds are always picked-up.

I stopped in at this restaurant at the recommendation of family to meet them for dinner as I was travelling cross country. We were treated very well, had a wonderful meal and had the opportunity to talk. The waitress was excellent and the food was plentiful and tasty. I look forward to returning in the future.

500 hungry MS TRAM bicycle riders stayed in Long Prairie last week. Many ordered pizzas to be delivered to the campground. We waited a couple hours for ours and finally phoned to see if they were actually going to deliver our pizzas. Short story is that the owner delivered our pizzas within minutes. He apologized profusely saying our pizza had been ready for some time but he did not have enough delivery staff. We went to pay, but he said the pizzas were on him!

This is a family run Chinese restaurant. Mai-Mai is the wait staff and Sam is the cook. They work really hard and the quality of their many dishes speak to their dedication. They are particularly proud of the top quality fresh ingredients. We eat there regularly and will continue to do so.

Mi Pueblito just opened a Mexican restaurant in the back of the grocery store in early April. We had Friday night dinner there recently and it was hopping with our towns most recent arrivals - Dominicans and Puerto Ricans. Folks were enjoying a cold beer and dinner after a hard week. So were we. We had a burrito al pastor and cheese enchiladas with a side of beans and rice. We also enjoyed a strawberry Mexican soda. Service is fast and friendly. We paid $25.00 for 2 dinners, sodas, and tip.

This place is a great place. It has been remodeled and is very clean. The owner is cooking again, and has a ton of experience. He makes his own bbq sauce, and salad dressings from scratch. Ribs, chicken, steak, burgers are all excellent. The wait staff is on the ball as well. This place is midway between Sauk Centre and Long Prairie.

Menu is basic but the specials are great--kind of an unexpected happy surprise. They also have the option of fries or tater tots which is a nice touch.
