A real gem tucked away behind Piazza Santo Stefano, just a stoneâs throw from the Duomo, this is one of our all-time favourite places in Milan. Absolutely charming service, incredibly tasty dishes - meat, fish, veg, seaweed, tofu, all sorts of simple yet exquisite dishes you never know existed unless youâve been to Japan - and a quietly elegant yet laid-back atmosphere makes this place stand out from the crowd. Perfect lunch spot two subway stops from the tourist crowds at Duomo Very small place. Need reservations. Definitely local crowd. Food is excellent. Limited menu focusing on the specialty meats and one type of pasta We had mortobello on a thin local flatbread and the local pasta angoletti. Small ravioli. Excellent Also had very good microbrewery beer.

For the second time I ended up in La Bisteccheria with some friends and left happy as ever. This time I tried their diaphragm, sounds strange but it was very tastefull.
