We plan our trip to make a break in this restaurant. It is located about 120 km from Wienna on the highway A2 (Südautobahn). It is one of the Landzeit restaurants in Austria. The stuff is friendly, but the main reason to stop here is the Menu. Great veal Schnitzel, canadian waffel and kids menu is worth to stop here. They have seasonal menu, but during our visit it was sold out. That was a pity, because it looks delicious. Next year we plan again a break in this restaurant.

We love the Loipersdorf Therme for 12 Years. We are comming every year for one week. This year we had the dinner every evening in Heuriger Krops. The food is exelent and the staff, especial Bela and the owners Josef with Sigi are very nice and friendly. We love this place and will come next year again.

We had one cucurbit soup. A little bit salty for me. The next one: pork steak with vegetables. My wife had spaghetti bolognese. Nothing special.Staff was very friendly and helpful.

One stop chance and next time I am close to this town I'll be back.
Beside a small choice I got as a daily dish offered a veggie lasagne which was ,at least as far as I remember, one of the best I have had ever , came together with fresh ,crunchy green salad dressed up with excellent pumpkinseat oil marinade. As always it is the ingredients together with chefs skills to give a dish the final touch ,in this aspect the result could not have been better. Got motivated to order homemade Tiramisu and looking forward, to my dessert and next visit :-)
Thanks also to hospitality and friendliness, prices are reasonable for fresh impressions.

Der "Weinhof und Buschenschank Sammer", ca. 10 Minuten/2 Km entfernt von Loipersdorf, liegt idyllisch eingebettet in der sanften Hügellandschaft der Südoststeiermark, mitten im beliebten steirischen Thermenland. Bei diesem Familienbetrieb steht Gemütlichkeit und Gastlichkeit an erster Stelle. An schönen Tagen kann die Sonnenterrasse genutzt werden, die einen guten Ausblick auf die Landschaft bietet.
Der Innenbereich besteht aus 2 Bereichen, die unterschiedlich groß sind, aber sehr nett dekoriert sind, es stehen große wie auch kleinere Tischgruppen zur Verfügung und vermitteln angenehmes Buschenschankambiente. Aus den ca. 6 ha Rebflächen wird eine eine Vielfalt an fruchtig frischen Weißweinen – wie Welschriesling, Morillon, Sauvignon Blanc oder Weißburgunder gekeltert. Gemäß dem Motto „klein aber fein“ läßt der Winzer auch kraftvolle Rotweine in kleinen Eichenfässern heranreifen. Auf der Menükarte finden sich viele steierische Spezialitäten wie rohbelegtes Brot, Käferbohnen, Mozzarella mit Tomanten, Brettljause, Lumpensalat mit Kernöl oder auch ein vegetarischer Schlemmerteller – alle sehr schön serviert und auch geschmacklich sehr gut.
Als Aperitif eignet sich hervorragend der Sam Secco Rose oder auch der Secco Muskateller, ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft der Pfirsichnektar – hier wird wirklich gute steirische Kulinarik geboten, die von freundlichen, netten Servicepersonal serviert wird. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

As part of the hotel room package is to take soup and salad from the downstairs restaurant. The soup and salad were of an extremely good standard and served with freshly baked. The restaurant specializes in pizza and it also looks great.

Set in a old building...a old brewery.....A friendly atmosphere and service...Great bier while waiting for some great food!!! I had the venison meat balls.....almost went for the Lama but another time...Presentated very well....the dessert was very nice too!!! Good prices....Enjoble lunch with other guests sharing the table and everybody happy with their choice....Was a surpise....a discovery!!!

Das Gasthaus ist wohl ein Insidertipp und dies die erste Bewertung auf TA. Den Tipp habe ich langjährigen Gästen der Therme Loipersdorf zu verdanken. Das Dorfgasthaus hat eine erstaunlich umfangreiche Karte mit vielen lokalen Gerichten. Man erhält recht üppige Portionen zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Bodenständige, einheimische und ehrliche Gerichte. Preis/Leistung einfach Top.

Walter, the owner, is also the chef. He prepares great food, traditional Austrian food as well as pizza, and many of his own creations! He also has many seasonal specialities. Including game, Easter dishes and summer Spritzer variations. He even has, his own garden, during opening hours that children can use as an outdoor play area, with bikes and scooters etc. We have taken many visiting family members here and have never been dissapointed!
