The ambiance is very nice, staff helpful and serving with smile. However the food lacks depth, often loaded with fats.Probably the most horrible onion soup and garlic soup.Beef cheeks cooked off and deprived of any flavor. one can hardly imagine that, but unfortunately true.Food loaded with artificial preservatives. Not recommended.

The small eatery, 7-8 tables only, located far from the city centre. However, if you are close to this place, do not hesitate to pop into this restaurant. The menu is interesting, tasty dishes, nicely prepared and at reasonable prices. I recommend papardele with prawns, garlic and chilli. At the lunch time could be rather busy.

Located just behind Piotrkowska street, in a courtyard, this young and alternative restaurant has something good to offer the clients. Menu isn't wide but offer looks interesting with some traditional food revised bt the cook. I ate a plate of some different goat chees , made by a small farm ( good but to improve the choice of jam), a duck breast with beetroot ( excellent) and a very good cheesecake. The interiors are easygoing and trendy as well as the clients, mostly young and alternative. Nice to see that, in a city as Lodz, there are some young cook trying to be more open and creative. There is room for improvement, mostly in the service, howewer nice and friendly: it would be nice to have more information about the goat cheese plate ( it's a " clock", wich one has to be eaten before?) and the waitress...please...shouldn't wear plastic slipper, the restaurant is not oh the beach ;-) .All in all, I strongly recommend Lokal, it worth a visit!

The trendy bar, always overcrowded, occupied mainly by youngsters. Quite wide menu, including pizzas and burgers, but the food is not the strenght of this entity. Rather drinks, different kind of beers attract customers. In the rush hours, be prepared for a long wait. One of the leading bars in the entertainment and culinary area - famous Piotrkowska Off.

We found this restaurant in the "Manufaktur" shopping mall and felt welcome even when no table was pre-booked and the restaurant was busy on a Sunday night. I loved the asparagus dish as a starter - great flavors and prefect consistency. For main course I tried the truffle gnoggi - and also liked this a lot. the desert menue looked a little to heavy for me - so gave it a miss.

Looking for a different dinner solution found this restaurant in Trip and decided to try it. Overall: Excellent!! Service is great, the food interesting and very tasty, very well presented. Not so many choices but all very appealing.Usually I stay way from these places because my taste goes more to traditional, old fashioned, typical restaurants so my good review of this place says a lot!If you like good food, try it! If, on top, you like modern, chef like cuisine, then it's a must!!

Quale Restaurant is a place for people who value quality and taste. We have combined the decor of our rooms, inspired by the 1920's, with modern cuisine, a cocktail-bar and whisky bar. All this is connected by carefully selected background music. When vis

We may have come there at a wrong time, during the restaurant week festival, asking for a regular meal a la carte but,,,. I had booked a table for a small family celebration. When we arrived, we were kept waiting for a few minutes. The waitress informed us that there was no reservation in my name... Right... No assumption that there may be a mistake in the notes... We were shown to the room with all but one tables empty, no reservations... What was all the fuss then? We waited 7 minutes for the (completely numb) waitress to arrive with the menu, then another 16 minutes for her to take our order. She may have been stressed, but she ended up being rather pompous and crude (by instructing us in advance what we could not have). Ultimately, feeling rather bitter by not being able to get any simple pasta for our kid (we had great memories of ravioli about two years ago), we ended up leaving. We picked a less fancy restaurant, where we had a square meal and friendly service. I don't think I am coming back to actually test the food in this pompous, hostile environment.Dear Miss, we apologize for the unfortunate coincidence. In fact, your reservation was registered a day earlier and although we do not know what made this error to happen because this has never happened before, we are very sorry about that. Certainly, the festival mess must have had some influence on that although we do not avoid any responsibility, the error is ours. As far as the waitress is concerned, please understand - she is very nice and hospital, this day she could not provide you with such an amount of emotions you undoubtedly deserve due to the mentioned festival. We are also sorry due to the kitchen which on that day could not serve all dishes from the menu. This state of affairs was also the consequence of wrongly registered reservation and lack of preparation. Each dish in our restaurant is prepared only after making the order and for technological reasons, we cannot accelerate this process. Also for this reason the cook proposed a shortened menu for you. Certainly in your situation I would react in a similar way, however taking into account the above mentioned please consider milder penalty. In order to be able to rehabilitate, I invite you again. Yours faithfully - Dariusz Sojka
