Come hungry! Marvelous menu with lots om salmon varieties. We have tested many and we have never been disapponted. I especially like the soup. Modern, big restaurant. Beautiful location a short distance from the road. Affordable prices. There is good ice cream right next to Laxbutiken. I tried the interesting flavor red beet with pepper and ginger...

The "räksmörgås" - shrimp Sandwich -, which is a typical dish for West-Sweden is a delicacy here and not the only reason for a walk on "Strandpromenaden" to Gustavsberg/Lindesnäs. The old-fashioned interior, green park and sea view are marvelous, too. Only minus are stiff prices and few tables.

A simple, traditional menu with a twist. Everything was fresh and well-cooked, with some surprising associations. The view from the Terrace of the restaurant is unbeatable.

In the country side near the sea, chickens running around and lovely owner who can fix gluten free things never a problem organic icecream, lovely flowers for sale and some times fresh eggs and next door they sell amazing cheese love the place

Having heard of Cafe Flora from a relative we dropped in for lunch when passing by on E6. We had the Pulled pork Sandwich, Caesar salad and Kids plate. Everything was delicious, the salad was crispy and fresh, served with chicken and bacon, the pulled pork was super tender and served on a crispy piece of sourdough bread with a side salad and chips. The kids plate was chicken drumsticks, veggies and pasta and there were no objections from the little one.
The cafe is located in what seems to be an old workshop with a large back yard with a lawn for the kids to run around on. Ljungskile is a small town but you have some small shops close by if you want to stroll a little.
On our way back from where we were going we had to drop in again for a fika, having seen the pastries during our lunch. We had a cupcake, smoothie and piece of pie. If you don't have a sweet tooth this is not for you, but if you do you'll love it here!

This little restaurant is really cute. Perched above the shoreline with the owner in full waterproof gear delivering buckets of mussels straight from the sea, and then cooking them in front of you. Gratinated with melted cheese, deep fried in slightly spicy breadcrumbs, conventional marinière, which ever way you choose your mussels you will not be disappointed. Charming staff, efficient service, very good value for the quality...Musselbaren is a really delightful experience.

Stället är en kombination av kiosk, fik och restaurang.
Ger ett rörigt intryck.
Vi beställde tre olika rätter.
Den rätt jag beställt kom in långt innan de andra och
var nästan uppäten innan vi fick fråga efter de andra.
Maten var kraftigt saltad.
På en av rätterna låg det salt som nästan såg ut som ett
tunt lager frost.
Två av rätterna skulle åtföljas av sallad -
ingen sallad fanns med.
Smaken då ?

En riktig pärla i utkanten av Ljungskile med utsikt över viken och samhället. Härligt ställe med enklare mat och inredningsbutik. Hemlagade köttbullar på mörkt rågbröd och rödbetssallad. Det är den stora favoriten.
