Als een verjaardagfeest van een familielid zijn we uitgenodigd voor een diner in dit restaurant. Het diner was super goed verzorgt. Heel gezellig en een mooie menukaart gaf informatie over de keuzes die we konden maken.Het eten was over het algemeen erg goed, de frites waren wel wat peperig en in het stoofpotje mocht wat minder ui zitten. Maar de vis was voortreffelijk van smaak. Alles bijeen is het een fijn feest geworden.

Stopped by for lunch as we were in the neighbourhood. The place looked popular amongst the locals as it was almost full. We order the Roatsed pork club sandwich and the pulled pork tosti. Although the overall presentation and size of the portion was good, we weren't that impressed with the taste. The ingredients seemed good and the dishes definitely have the potential to be really good but what we both agreed on was that the sauce in both dishes was way too much. It was all you could taste which was a bit disappointing. The coffee I order was really nice and the staff was friendly!

Went to Da Kepello for a lunch: menu was extensive with a large variety of dishes, salads and bread. The lunch was tasty having bread with goat's cheese. Fresh peppermint thea was served with two leafstalks: not too much. Service was rather poor: serving plates at wrong tables, having no particular attention for customer and even shouting when taking orders (need a hearing aid?). The location has virtually no atmosphere: many tables are set up, furniture not present.

as we were there for a meeting nearby decided to go have a look at the shops there in this small town and then have dinner we were recommended by one of the shop staff to eat here and yes we took the right decision to eat here as the steak and the fish they served was really delicious so we enjoyed our food > nice wine and also very friendly staff

During our recent holiday to the area, we ate here a couple of times. The staff are very friendly and are great a speaking English and making us feel welcome. There is a choice of pizzas (delicious!), burgers, wraps, sausages, fries, with icecreams for dessert. The food is freshly cooked to order and always nice. For younger guests, there is a children's corner with toys and colouring.

well for us this was just ordinary experience as the food what we ordered was ok nothing so great as we were with some dutch friends and they were also surprised that the typical dutch dishes which any restaurant can make well was also not upto its mark

Met een aantal vrienden samen gegeten. Het eten was tot in de puntjes goed verzorgd. Heerlijk smaken met verse producten. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en goede service. Zeker een aanrader en ik zou zeggen, Belaef 't zelf!

Decided to have dinner here as we were planning to see a movie later that evening. We were quite happy with our meal. Took a beerstew (bierpotje) and it was wonderful! Exactly what we wanted. Good quality meat, good taste and even 2 diffetent potatoes dishes.Would have given 5 stars but the bread we ordered to start with was a bit too rubbery and after our meal we wanted some dessert but it seemed that the staff, which uptil now had been good, had forgotten about us so we didn't have enough time for that. Overall really enjoyed the food! Would come again!Thank you for taking the time to write this recommendation. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the food. Whilst on a trip to Europe, my wife and I caught up for dinner at De Zoes in Helden, and were very impressed. The restaurant has been operating since 1937 and has been recently renovated to a city standard. The food was very good, well cooked, good flavours and textures, very creative presentation from a chef who has a great feel for modern cuisine. A huge selection of beers and a good wine list, coupled with attentive and professional service, in all a great night in a restaurant which the town should be proud to call their own.

De Kantine is an unexpected find in a small town - the quality of the cuisine is truly memorable, and worth going out of one's way for. The atmosphere of this pub is warm and inviting, with traditional touches to the decor in an overall setting that is consistent with up-to-date aesthetics. I much enjoyed the special beers that were on tap at the time of my visit, but the highlight without a doubt was one of the best club sandwiches I have had anywhere in the world. On all fronts - presentation, freshness of ingredients, subtlety of preparation, and clean, crisp constellation of delicious flavors - this sandwich was exceptional. Finally, the service at this establishment is welcoming and attentive, and an important part of a great overall experience. I cannot recommend de Kantine enough, and look forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.
