Lovely small deluxe hotel
Reviewed By LikesitluxCharming owners, junior suite was very nice and recently refurbished, unlike most of Lech hotels. Evening meal was very good quality and the wine list has some real gems. Location is slightly up the hill but a very nice place to stay. And the spa is beautiful.

Very special family-run luxury ski hotel
Reviewed By Sarya KWe had a great stay and can’t wait to go back. The hotel has a very welcoming feel, the ambience is relaxing and cosy, the decor is inviting. Food is excellent, breakfast is bountiful. Great steak tartare and schnitzel. Location is right in front of the main ski-lift - you can’t beat that. Our connecting rooms needed renovating, doesn’t have the same charm as the rest of the place, some of the colours are a bit dated now. The bathroom in the master bedroom was tiny but the whole connecting thing works for a family with 3 kids, and as a corner room it had windows on 2 sides which is a real plus. The only thing missing was a pool - hubby and kids would have enjoyed a dip after a long day skiing, but we would still come back even without the pool. Shout-out to the masseuse…. A very invigorating massage! Her arms felt like an octopus on my back? Service was attentive but a little slow at times - you can tell the entire resort was experiencing a shortage of staff, this wasn’t unique to the Berghof though. All in all a great option of you’re looking for a luxury ski-hotel, along with the luxury price tag.

A lovely family friendly hotel in a beautiful ski resort
Reviewed By 297barriehWe stayed at Hotel Gotthard in Lech in April 2022 for two weeks, we were five adults and two children. The location is excellent, being close to the lifts, ski school and shops. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially with the children and made every effort to fulfil all our individual requests. We were half board and had our own table for breakfast and dinner, the choice of food available was extensive including children's menus and special requests were readily accepted. The bar was cosy for a late coffee or liquor and there is a cafe at the front of the hotel which serves lunch snacks, delicious pastries and chocolate cakes , The bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Finnish sauna, etc. are beautifully modern and inviting. A great relaxation area after a day skiing. The reception staff also issue ski passes and provided answers to all our enquiries. An excellent place to stay

We are a very warm, cosy, family-run bed-and-breakfast establishment in the city center of Lech next to the ski-lifts, the ski-school, restaurants and shops. Amazing location, great hotel, feels like home!
Reviewed By PGTravelTipsThis is a brilliant hotel in a perfect location in the centre of town. It’s next door to one of the two main ski lifts in town and an Inter Sport for ski rentals. The second main ski lift is a 5 minute (or less) away. The rooms were spacious, very clean, lots of storage room, comfortable beds and a really modern bathroom. I’ve stayed in a lot of Marriott brand hotels and this one easily matches the higher end brands. The staff in this family run hotel are so friendly and each morning put on a great breakfast buffet with a selection of cocked eggs. Lovely selection of food and coffee. The owners were so helpful and nothing was too much for them. There is also a spa area in the hotel with Steam Room, Sauna, Foot Spa and Relax room. All this and breakfast is included in the price. There is good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel too. If you are planning a trip to Lech, I would 100% recommend this hotel to stay in. There is no bar or evening restaurant at the hotel, but it is in the centre of town so plenty nearby. I recommend you book evening meals in advance of your stay as the best local restaurants can get busy. This hotel is excellent value in an expensive resort. A Fabulously warm Family Run Hotel
Reviewed By F6208WMalanmMy daughter and I have just returned (today) after spending 4 nights at the Wonderful Hotel Lech in the beautiful skiing village of Lech am Arlberg. This family run hotel is simply perfect. Throughout our stay we were so well looked after by Vincent, Frainy, their Mum and Suzi in the restaurant. If I was to use one phrase to describe this hotel, I would say ‘Simplicity at its best’. The room was perfect for my daughter and I with a beautiful balcony view overlooking the mountains and village. Breakfast was simple and nourishing with a great selection of fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon, cold meat and cheese with a lovely selection of breads, all washed down with fresh coffee and a full selection of world teas. Evening dinner was wonderful- starting with a full salad buffet, soup, main course (selection of a meat dish or veggie dish) and dessert. The hotel has a great wine list with local beers as well. There is a lovely foyer lounge with open fire to have pre and after dinner drinks (with a great cocktail menu). In the afternoon there are cakes left out for guest to munch on as they come in from their skiing. Vincent has great knowledge of the skiing areas and was a great help to us trying to maximise our 3 days spring skiing. Overall this is a wonderful Austrian hotel that is bursting with warm hospitality for all guests. There is nothing ‘cheap’ about Lech as a skiing village, but the Hotel Lech represents great value in return for a hugely memorable experience - we will be back for sure and I will be telling my friends. From a pleasant impression to a nightmare
Reviewed By Angelika LThe Auenhof is a charming hotel which impressed me at arrival. The room was nice and neat, although the shower didn’t work properly and when I complained I got the answer: “The last guest did not inform us about this problem and our guests usually shower in the spa.” It took 3 days to get the shower fixed. Food was excellent and I must say I loved the pool, the sauna and especially the service staff in the dining room was lovely. Unfortunately the hotel provided zero winterservice on its grounds – which is required by law. It was late in the evening, I slipped in front of the hotel on plain ice and broke my wrist followed by a surgery. Back home I consulted a lawyer to ask for damages. Austrian Hotels have an insurance policy that covers accident costs that happen to guests. The owner of the Auenhof blew off my accusation due to the non-existance of a proper photo of the exact accident location. Unfortunately nobody has called the police; it is the duty of the ambulance to do so. The hotel’s statement was like: “The lady has booked a winter vacation on a height of 1400 m and knew what she was getting into. Other guests did go out on this evening as well and did not slip at all!” It left me speechless. I filed a police case later on. I just want to point out the attitude of this hotel. There is nothing more to add.

The host of the restaurant those not know what hospitality means

We have visited most restaurants and Lech is famous for “Gastfreundschaft” Was tonight extremely difficult to find a restaurant and our host was able to book a table in this hotel. We were informed and accepted that the table was available between 1815 and 1945. Our host started to push from the minute we entered the restaurant and even reminded us after 30 minutes and during our main course the we had limited time. We decided to skip dessert and coffee and left at 1945. Enough tables were still available. The head host should take a course om Gastfreundschaft and specifically flexibility Suggest never to go here and order an excellent pizza at Don Enzo and eat the pizza in your room.

Just perfect. Don't hesitate
Reviewed By ValmorExcellent family-run place to stay in Lech area. Ski-out; ski-in depending on weather and you skills. Anyway, there is a ski bus stop just in front of the house; and nearest lift is only 500 m away in Zug. Lech is 15 m pleasant walk along the river (there is a walk path) or one ski bus stop. The owners very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, sunny and spacious with fantastic views. Good breakfast with local-made dishes; nice cosy wellness in the basement. And, price was very reasonable for this type of property.
