Second year that we have visited (May 2016). There is a quite limited choice of set menus, but we have discovered that the presentation and cooking is really very good. Probably best for a special occasion, as the price for the basic set menu is quite high (â¬38). On this occasion we had two champagne cocktails to start (â¬13 each) then the Menu Nature (â¬38) with a glass of white wine â¬8, red wine â¬9. With bottles of water and one coffee (â¬3.00) the total was â¬132. Very professional service and an excellent experience.

Couple in this restaurant in aiguebelle. The meal was average, the prize was higher. You have to know that there was no other restaurant opened anymore at that time. The service was excellent and the cook came out after dinner and talked to all the other clients except us. The older couples must eat there everyday, we did not.

While biking along the coast we found Les Sables for lunch. Truly amazing food on the beach, if one thing is missing is the fact that they do not serve dinner. So we came back the next day and were treated like family already. The food ranges from steak tartare till dorade. So everything a bikers needs. You can only go for a beach chair but then you will miss out

We have been visiting this region for a number of years. Les Canetons have been warm and welcoming to us each time. Itâs the sort of place you keep coming back to because you become friends with the staff and owners. Their food is high quality and have a tapas menu on a Wednesday evening with a live band. This restaurant was a lovely alternative to the many restaurants along the coast which seems to offer three things; moules, pizzas and pastas. We ate tasty veal and fish and chips, and got a nice gazpacho as an apetizer. Located on the beach the atmosphere is great, but the place has something to work on when it comes to service. Interestingly enough, the manager himself seemed to be the least service minded amongst the staff, that is, if you are the occasional guest and not the regular client. We came before the dinner rush, with no other guests in the restaurant. We got a nice table, the waiter was nice, but as soon as other guests arrived we got the feeling that this was a place for returning guests and not the random drop-in like us. Getting the bill took its time and actually paying even longer, despite the manager noticing several times that we wanted to pay. We enjoyed the food very much and the location even more, but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

We went for dinner and have been impressed all along. The food is delicious, the plates are stunning. The owners, Fabrizio and Emilie have been very nice. The restaurant was full but the staff has been really efficient and we haven't waited between our dishes. Higly recommended!

We. love this relaxed place - pied dans lâeau - ideal for lunch and a swim or sail. The Monday we last visited was grey but warm so we settled in a cosy corner to have a delicious lunch of rillettes and sea bass. The wind got up and the skies darkened. We then experienced a real mistral storm, black seas and raging winds. Whilst parasols fell and tables tipped our gallant staff continued to look after us as if nothing had happened! The sailing crew were amazing, rescuing children in kayaks and pulling in all the boats. This was a day to remember plus a fantastic lunch. Smash club is located in the lavandou area. Itâs a club with tennis grounds, and a swimming pool. The restaurant is unassuming and laid back given its location with the tennis grounds and swimming pool, but the food is quite the contrary. We were warmly greeted by the patron of the restaurant, and despite not having a reservation and the place heavily packed, a table was found and chairs were brought quickly for us. The staff/personnel were in very good spirits and you could tell they had joy in what they were doing, as this was directly translated in the excellent service which they provided.The food that we had was hands down the best food that we have had on the Cote Azur. And this is in comparison to Michelin star restaurants, or restaurants in the Cote Azur area run by Michelin star chefs. Smash club was truly a sensational gastronomical experience, from the truffle cappuccino, to the saffron risotto with chicken oysters (in French sot-lây-laisse), to the pigeon in puff pastry parcels with truffled mashed potatoes, cheese course, and fig dessert. This tasting menu was all washed down with a âRose et Orâ minuty wine which paired really well. As a digestif I had the âMarc de provenceâ which was excellent too.All in all, it was an excellent dinner, and I would highly recommend this place. It may not be a Michelin star restaurant, nor a restaurant run by a Michelin star chef, but the food is certainly high up in the ranks of those, if not better. We will certainly be returning soon!

Found this very good restaurant on our first evening in Less Lavandou and ended eating here many times. The food is good and cooked to order and very good value for money. The deposit menus are exceptional and the service and staff are fantastic. We will definitely return again
