I wouldn't rave about it but it is ok. Me & my brother ate here. We had macaroni with minced beef & creme fraiche/sour cream. Comes in a pot which they put on the little heater pot in the middle of your table.
They seat you mainly in the conservatory bit on the front, friendly staff.

The hotel Oberland's restaurant is located in the centre of the village just an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. We are open daily from 11.30 am to the evening. Our menu has everything from soups, snacks and salads, pizzas, pasta, meat and fish dishes and of course traditional Swiss dishes of fondues and röstis. Our extensive desert menu has something for everyone from a small ice cream to our special chocolate cake. Relax in our garden with a cooling drink in summer or in our restaurant with a hot chocolate in winter. Free parking is available and a bus stop a few meters away.

Ate here once and that was enough of that. In comparison to the other two really good restaurants in the area, this came up short. They had a boring menu slanted toward tourists and the staff didn't seem at all pleased that people were actually eating here and making them work. Don't accept the hype and ate at Steinbock or Restaurant Weidstubli instead.

Spent a leisurely few hours here after completing 3/4 of the Kleine Scheidegg to Wengen stroll. Perfectly located next to the Allemand train stop. Great variety of local and Thai food. Rusti with egg was delicious. Attentive , friendly staff who went out of the way to welcome us.

This hotel restaurant is open for visitors, it has a very nice Terrace overlooking the gorgeous landscape here in Mürren.
We had typical Swiss food, very well cooked with a very attentive service from a Portuguese girl.
Prices average for the Swiss standards.

So gladvwe stopped in La Grotte for our 1st night here. The onion soup was superb. As was the cheese fondue, orange glace chicken and chocolate mousse. The decor was so so cost and tasteful I wished I had stayed there at Hotel Blumentfal!

When you're just simply tired of Swiss cuisine try this unassuming Asian spot conveniently located on the towns main street. To be straight up, it was the best service we had anywhere in Switzerland, and the food was just as good.

We visited most of the Michelin mentioned restaurants in the Lauterbrunnen valley region during our two week trip to the area. We were surprised that this restaurant received a mention. Our biggest disappointment was the "wild boar" dish which was absolutely not wild boar. We have eaten wild boar many times including at other restaurants in the area. The accompanying dishes were similarly disappointing.

Airtime Cafe is in the centre of Lauterbrunnen and is a great relaxing spot for a breakfast or lunch or just cake and coffee. A wide range of delicious house-made food to choose from. Gluten free options are available. Great coffee served by friendly staff.

My partner and I regulate this cosy coffee shop! The service is some of the best in Lauterbrunnen :) The coffees are made properly... which is rare in Switzerland (not coming out of a big machine). You can get sandwiches made-to-order, which we do regularly. They use their own home-made Focaccias! Stefano makes the best in Switzerland!! Although there is one girl who works there (who I have never seen smile :S) and seems not to be bothered, the others are super nice and always have a chat! Definitely recommended when in Lauterbrunnen!
