Things to do in Luosto
Cafeteria, sweet and salty pastries, lunch, hamburgers, panini
Eenvoudig plek met self services. Koffie, thee met of zonder lekkere koek erbij. Prima, maar niet bijzonder. Met een beetje geluk kun je op het terras buiten zitten. Sluiten rond 17.00

The oldest, homiest and coziest ski café in Luosto area. Leave your skis, snowshoes, snowmobile or car outside and pop in from the cold Spring weather and enjoy hot drinks, pastries or doughnuts by the warm fireplace. We accept also credit cards.
Torvisen Maja is a cosy place with a long tradition...the family has owned the place for many years (60?). Their pastries are very tasty and so are the pancakes. We loved it :)You can do a nice break there if you are having a cross-country ski day or you can also go by car if you just wanna taste their nice sweets.
I visited this Restaurant with family and the whole experience was Excellent. The service was very good and the staff are engaging and friendly. The food was cooked perfectly and was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very good with background music and a nice fire burning in the hearth, just perfect for Lapland. Check for opening times, restaurant is in a good location but pops up on you so very decent find. Had I have stayed longer would have enjoyed a second visit. Would recommend and I thank the staff on for a good experience.

I hope you like my review.

The restaurant of the Aurora is the main dining area in Santa's Hotel Aurora, Luosto, for breakfast-lunch-dinner. The meals are Scandinavian, European, Vegetarian Friendly. We were reserved a table for 20 people every day. The breakfast time for starting a good day is served at 7.30-10 am daily. Hotel Aurora prepared a three-course dinner menu daily from 4pm-10pm for our group. The food was super delicious and well-presented every day. Chef/Pedar from Macedonia, Chef/Jaso & Chef/Tuukka from Finland were talented chefs with discerning taste. I uploaded photos as a sample of our dinner upon arrival, we had delicious salmon soup with rye, tender reindeer farm with mashed potatoes & aromatic cloudberry crème brûlée, these dishes were very Finnish and superbly tasty. I never had reindeer farm before, the meat was soft and tasty. I really loved the cloudberry, I never had these before too. Word Vaisko comes from old Sami language and is Luosto´s original name. Locality is our priority, the closer it comes the better it is. Our main product reindeer comes from reindeer farm Kopara and other local reindeer farmers, it´s hand picked and we onl
Whilst on holiday in Luosto, this restaurant was available as an upgrade to our half board package. This turned out to be a great decision. The food was delicious, offering a fine dining experience that is unrivaled in Lusoto. My favourite dish was the sauteed Reindeer and mash, so good i had this twice whilst visiting. The servers were very attentive and took time to chat and get to know you without being intrusive of your meal. Highly recommended and worth every penny.
