Atmosphere is nice and the live entertainment in the oyster bar was great however, food was not impressive. Terrible french bread for a true poboy and steamed vegetables over cooked.

They're where the food is good. This is solid good food without pretentiousness, without frills and without China. Just good food. They have a grill if you need something besides donuts. If you're okay with a good old American staple, then yeah, they got good donuts. The people here are friendly good people serving plain good fixings you can just sit and enjoy without fuss.
This ain't hotel food. This is the stuff you want.

I always liked DD especially their coffee and hard to find bagels. Friendly sevrice and if they don't have something they will make it for you 24 hours before hand for catering.

The first time I went there I thought it would be just another place.I ordered the oyster large po boy.It was top notch.the oysters where fresh along with the crispy poboy bread.I would recommend anyone to go there if you don`t want frozen food.

Just down the road from our Hampton Inn, in a town wth few worthwhile dining spots, this is a standout. We’ve gone twice this week, ordering different things, with similar experiences. Can’t believe how quickly the food arrives. Excellent quality with plenty of the stuff you really want, i.e., the steak or shrimp or chicken. Reasonable prices, good drinks. Total winner.

Their sausage and other offerings in the freezer accessible to customers to choose is average. It is not flavorful, but is acceptable. The bbq on the menu is too expensive ($21 a 3-meat plate), and there are only about two choices for the bbq. "Smokehouse"??? I guess they're talking about the other food, like, andouille. They have cracklins that they get from somewhere else, but they are not very good. Taste like bacon. But no worse than any other location in Laplace, where they do not know how to make cracklins.

Sorry to say but the food was not that good, barely had any type of seasoning or maybe it was just my shrimp pasta. Pasta tasted too milky and was without any onions or anything. Alligator was good but only with the sauce that was provided. Must say I would never eat here again. I rather eat at Zaxbys or something other fast food.

The food is very good one of my favorite Mexican restaurant's very consistent. Had a bad meal one time and the manager was not very friendly when i called him to complain its was take out that was the only problem i had but very consistent otherwise.

This restaurant has the best hot & sour soup I have ever tasted. We ordered lemon chicken, pepper steak and combo fried rice. All dishes were fantastic! They gave a choice of either white or dark on the lemon chicken. The combo rice was very tasty and not too salty.

Very nice atmosphere. Wonderful friendly helpful service. Poor quality steak, tough and chewy. Might have seemed better if the steak knives were sharpened, but was not much better than a butter knife. The steak was of a low grade quality, equal to those found at local bars on steak-night. I will return, but order the seafood or pasta dishes instead...... will report back at that time... I "think" those will be better choices if I'm reading the other reviews correctly.
