Don't set high expectations

Reviewed By rchubbs

We booked this hotel through Sesame place package. When you first walk into the hotel, it is well kept and clean. Front desk was nice and the fact that it is not far from Sesame is a plus. Check in was fine.. disappointed to hear that the micro was not $5.00 as explained but 25.. made no sense .. especially paying 730 for our package. No stress.. Arriving to the room, there is a musty smell, the lighten is dull and the room just feels dirty . No stress .. when looking at the bathroom there was a bug crawling.. killed it and moved on.. then another on nightstand and then another on the window . We called front desk who sent someone up who stated maintenance would come up.. No one came up, no addressed the situation and it made me feel uneasy because i did not know what else was crawling.. The toilet doesn't work well.. u have to keep playing with the lever. The water pressure was horrible.. after the 2nd persons showers,. there is no water left for others.. this was consistent with all the showers we took Towels have stains and sheets.. pool had bugs inside.. they needed to do a better of cleaning the pool Let's not forget being awaken by the alarm going off at 7AM and everyone have to evacuate due to someone blowing drying their hair and triggering the alarm.. thankfully nothing serious.. but they had ppl walking down the stairs without any communication ... for the price which was paid, expected a little more. Also there is still a $250 fee on my card which has not been reversed..

Not up to reputation of Mariott for sure

Reviewed By gizmofreek

Many if the things are just not acceptable considering the fact that the brand Mariott is associated with this hotel. Spider webs in the room, coins and balls from some previous guests underneath, sofa bed has stains on it, microwave does not have glass disc inside to keep your food, sliding door to the bathroom does not have rails on the floor - which i think is a safety hazard since my daughter was pulling it without knowing its supposed to be slided - and the doors are heavy if it gets off the top rail. Breakast was was not up to standard - when compared to some of the other Mariotts i have stayed in the past - No waffles, pan cake maker etc which kids look forward to.

Ripped Furniture, stains, stale cigarettes and hard as a rock bed!

Reviewed By 62kolbys

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton in Langhorne a few weeks ago and had a lovely stay but we thought we would save a little money and take a chance on the Holiday Inn Express. When we arrived the outside was nice looking and inviting, as soon as we got in we could tell it was a trap and it was a dirty hotel. Trash on the floor in the lobby. The lady checking us in was efficient and friendly. We went to our room and found ripped furniture, stains on the couch, blood on the shower curtain, hair in the bathroom, and the smell was of stale cigarettes and mold. We were grossed out. We thought about pulling out and going down the street back to the Sheraton but we went for dinner and tried to make the best of it. The bed was hard as a rock and at 8am a male housekeeper came barging into the room and checkout is 11am. I was appalled by the grossness of the hotel. The breakfast was mediocre. The area is nice if you are visiting sesame place as it’s right down the street. My friend was to be staying at the same hotel end of June but she has now canceled her stay due to our issues this past week. Do yourselves a favor, spend a little more and go to a different hotel.

Shady Registration Desk Crew

Reviewed By GeogProfOH

The in-room internet was really phish. I saw an employee hand in an item that a customer had inadvertently left on a table to the person manning the front desk. He commented that he rather liked it and said that he might be tempted to keep it rather than returning to the guest should he/she inquire about it in the morning.

Terrible.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! The picture are deceiving. The place is horrible. It’s a Sex/drug motel. I booked it for two night to go to sesame place water park and it was the worse mistake. Not smoking room smelled like a cigarettes. Shower wall was cracked. AC wasn’t working. The room was dirty, the sheets were stained, and I could go on and on.

Avoid if you can

Reviewed By alanrG9366FM

Furniture in the suite was in very poor condition. Breakfast was almost non edible. Tried to have a bagel and the two toasters were not working. Was told one of the toasters caught on fire over the weekend because a guest put bacon in it. Yet they left the toaster out just unplugged with no note not to use. So I plugged it in and tried to use it. The other toaster (a regular 2 slice toaster) wasn’t working either. The sausage sandwiches where soggy and Luke warm. I feel the 2 stars was a generous review. Will not stay here again
