Having done research online beforehand we had seen the menu we specifically headed for this restaurant and were not disappointed. The menu was still available and the dish my wife wanted (Chicken in mushroom sauce) was a delight.
The portions were massive and the food very well cooked and very tasty. For once the price of soft drinks to accompany the meal were not excessive and the service was excellent. Waitress spoke very good English and we were easily understood and she was very attentive to our needs.
The inside of the restaurant is massive and I imagine a raucous night is guaranteed in the middle of winter with a hearty real fire blazing away. However, we were there in summer and so sat at the tables outside. Yes you are only fifteen feet from the main road but the traffic didn't seem to bother us as much as the flies. For our meal there were rather a lot and in the end we went inside to finish our drinks and leave then to the remnants.
There was also a chap setting up his equipment ready to put on a traditional Austrian folk evening but we had to depart before he had got going but we imagine it would have again added to the atmosphere.
We were very pleased to have chosen this place and for it to have lived up to our expectations and hopes. For my wife it was the best meal of the vacation and on due consideration I felt it was the place that gave the best service - so a winner in a couple of categories.

Came back after long seven years and I'm pleased to say that this purely family restaurant is still one of the best in Tirol. We've chosen a great mix of startes mainly consists from the fresh offer of different salads together with a local ham and home made dressings.
As a main dish we went for a sea food salad and home made pizza. All in all, it was delicious.
Like seven years ago, all our orders were handled by the daugher and mother team immediatelly and food was served basically by return.
We really emjoyed a family atmosphere there and quality of food and service. We will hopefully come back again a bit sooner...:-)

Went here on our holiday in Langenfeld. After a big disappointment at Don Camillo this restaurant had really good pizza's. Definitely will visit here again. Not expensive and really good food.

I was there for a dinner with my parents after one of the skiing days we had in Solden and I was looking forward to a proper Tyrolean game/venison/mushrooms feast but it turned out to be more or less a schintzel dinner - perfectly OK for a bar on the slopes of Solden but not what I was expecting from a restaurant in an imposing hotel in the middle of the Alps. My parents liked their ragout so that saved the day ;) The interior is pretty dated and could do with a few touches to keep the Alpine theme but to reduce its innate heaviness. The staff seemed bored by the patrons and very slow to keep us watered so I reckon I will be choosing another place when I'm again in Langenfeld.

A fantastic restaurant in the middle of the village of Langenfeld (15 min from Solden). I had to organise dinner for 32 people and the hotel we were staying (AquaDome) introduced me to Mrs. Valentina from Messner Stuben. When we arrived we were welcomed outside by the whole team with a great fireplace and a fabulous opening drink. The restaurant itself looked very cosy and is great for a nice evening out with family and friends. We had a big beautiful big private room on the first floor with a typical Austrian buffet, with all kinds of food. Vegetarian people had a great choice and even the meat lovers had a great variety of different kind of meat, not only pork ;-). Food was amazing en very tasty! After dinner we had a lovely tour in the cellar for a fine port tasting, all organised by Valentina and team. This was a great experience and we'll absolutely come back next year. I'm looking forward to it. Thank you again Valentina & Team! It was great to be there!

All we order was very good!!! Great steak and salads. Very nice restaurant and people. Recommend it also with kids. There's a small playground. It runs in the family 60 years.

Very accommodating staff, nice atmosphere, and surprisingly good food. We weren't able to communicate with any of the wait staff but they were able to serve us & made us feel welcome. The price to portion ratio was AMAZING!! The pizza & pasta were delicious.

If you're staying anywhere near Langenfeld or Solden, you should try & get to this little village of Huben. Food is beyond great, at stupidly cheap prices too. Lovely Alpine feel & atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again !

Found this place after a visit to the aqua dome & it was so nice we are thinking of coming again from solden before we head back home next week.
Ordered a starter to share followed by 2 delicious pizzas.
Staff very friendly & accommodating, price very reasonable & perfect ambience.
Perfect end to a day x
