Located in a small village in Tarn (Southwest France) this restaurant is worth the trip for good solid food. The menu basically consists of different kinds of crepes... wheat flour (crêpes de Froment) or buckwheat flour (galettes). In addition, during the summer (only time it is open) there is jazz music nightly. Close by is a swimming area in the River Viaur so you can enjoy both the river and lunch.

We live in La Garde, the next town over and this restaurant has been a godsend since we found it. After having l ived in the San Francisco area and Montreal where there are loads of Authentic and delicious asian restaurants we have been spoiled.
We originally stopped in here to get some vietnamiese Pho soup. Unfortunately the PHO wasn't as good as we had hoped however the rest of the food is amazing. Still nothing compared to what we are used to but in France it's really had to find an Asian restaurant worth visiting more than once.
We especially love the "rouleaux de printemps" -fresh spring rolls and the Szechwan chicken. The curries are excellent too. Don't count on finding any Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, they dont have any. :(. .
Overall, it's a great find in a place where you would not expect to find good asian food. France!!!

Petit restaurant situé au centre du village dans une ancienne maison à étages où l’accueil est chaleureux, les plats sont très bons et originaux à la fois. Je reviendrai déjeuner avec plaisir dans cette adresse sympathique.

Although it was a little pricey, the food was great. For starters, the calmari was excellent. It was fresh and lightly fried. For the entree, my wife had the "fried" fish plate and I had the special burger. No complaints. The bartender even warmed up some water for our baby's bottle. No complaints.

This is a very good restaurant with nice ambiance and a decent menu. We've eaten here several times and the food and service is consistently above average. The menu has a very good selection of local fare, including fresh seafood.

Pour des repas orientaux le midi, le menu du jour est toujours excellent. Le service chaleureux et le prix modeste du menu complet (thé offert avec les patisseries ).
En été la terrasse ombragée offre un espace de détente agréablepour la pose déjeuné.

Che dire, siamo tornati qua tutte e 3 le sere del nostro soggiorno, non potevamo farne a meno!! Piatti bellissimi alla vista, ma soprattutto freschi e davvero eccezionali!! Un rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo e un servizio impeccabile!! I proprietari sono persone squisite, gentilissimi,attenti ai dettagli e per nulla invadenti. Il locale è piccolino e quasi non si nota passando in macchina, ma se cercate un posto dove cenare bene e ad un prezzo onesto, è il posto perfetto!!

When we go shopping in La Valette we always go to Le France.The service is great and correct. The food arrives incredibily fast and is of great quality. For a price less than 20 euros we have an excellent bottle of rosé wine.Don't go to late there, the daydish is always sold out within the hour after opening.It is pleasant to have your lunch on the Terrace.
