Reviews on Indian food in Torun, Kuyavia-Pomerania Province, Poland. Famous for its native son, the astronomer Copernicus, Torun was founded by the Teutonic Knights in the 13th century. You can still see the ruins of their castle, left pretty much unchanged from when it was destroyed by disgruntled medieval townsfolk. Torun was one of the few Polish cities to escape major damage in World War II. Its beautifully preserved Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don’t miss the striking Old Town Hall. Torun is also famed for its gingerbread.

This subterranean restaurant is located on the South-West side of Prosta in the "Newstadt" half of the Medieval Centre of ToruÅ. There is no parking nearby. The restaurant is nicely decorated and offers a reasonable choice of dishes and drinks. But it is let down by the cuisine. The onions are not cooked enough (almost raw) and there is way too much tomato in the dishes, which tends to swamp the flavour. We're sorry to read such a poor review. We believe that the next visit will be much better. Regards

We were established so that our guests can enjoy the specialties of Indian and Thai. Our restaurant is a friendly atmosphere, delicious food and wonderful people who create it.
There are numerous reasons why you wouldnât like to eat here. Ventilation is absolutely lacking and you will reek of Indian food in a few minutes. The overall condition of the place is on par with a low level kebab. Food is so mediocre, I could get the same quality while blindly choosing ANY Indian bar on Pyszne pl. Magda Gesslee didnât help but Iâm shocked she did approve of this place. Stay away!

Where to eat European food in Torun: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I found this restaurant accidentally. I was walking the street, I looked around and I saw a new, unknown for me restaurant. The place is very stylish, the food is original, Indian, with some adjustments for European visitors. I really enjoyed there a nice lunch - Indian style, very tasty and just perfect for a midday. I am planning to visit this place again next week. I wish to check some other choices.
