Good clean accommodation

Reviewed By Else be V

This accommodation was clean and good use was made of the available space in the rondawels. The shower was hot, which was a real joy! The bed comfortable and the restaurant served good basic food. it was just very difficult to find and we had to phone twice for directions. The roads are not well marked in Kuruman, and we battled, even with Google maps. The Safari Travelodge is in a very quiet area of Kuruman on the plots outside of the main town area and we felt very safe.

Lovely tranquil accommodation in Kuruman

Reviewed By Mark G

Kuruman was an overnight stop for our family of 6 on the way to Namibia. We were not expecting much based on the neighbourhood and condition of some of the properties we drove past. Set behind a large green hedge was a welcome sight of a green tranquil garden with very comfortable rooms and a very friendly proprietor (Lynn-Mari). We were upgraded and "the parents" were given our own room at no extra cost with the 4 kids in their own room (as opposed to all 6 of us in the family room). In the morning we had a delicious breakfast and carried on our travels.

Clean and well equipped

Warm welcome and fast check-in. Anticipating loadshedding our meal orders we're taken for dinner. Rooms are clean and supplies with decent toiletries and have enough power outlets. Sadly the restaurant lacks the same efficiency. Food still took long despite ordering in advance. Steak was not seasoned or prepared correctly and breakfast was quite limited and a bit of a let down. For staying and self catering this place is stunning, but best avoid the restaurant.
