We spent the whole day here by starting with breakfast, and in between meals, we were on the beach....and we just couldn't leave this place too. Wonderful music, relaxing atmosphere, and amazingly fresh seafood dishes that are inspired by the French culinary influence....which means fine dining but on the beach in a relaxing and casual setting that is incomparable! Some of the pics are of wines from around the world, fresh seafood carpaccio and barracuda with fresh tarragon cream sauce...dreams will now occur of this experience

We were very impressed with Le Cigare... friendly staff, fast service, nice atmosphere, and excellent food. We had heard that their pizzas are good, so we all chose pizza. The restaurant has a wide range of pizzas, of different sizes, and we really enjoyed them. Overall, a very enjoyable experience - highly recommended! The restaurant is situated near the cathedral/fish market, on the other side of the roundabout.

You will start by the fake tour guides harassing you the second you step out of your car until you seat in the restaurant. Calling this place a restaurant is quite a large and big compliment for this place, as they only do shrimps, one way. No toilets,
No fork and knife, no glasses offered. ..well that was part of the feeling considering the beauty of the nature around you. Right next to the chute de la lobe however no direct views.
What was very annoying is to see that the other tables with local Cameroonian guests got the largest shrimps and ours were very tiny. ..this is something I don't like....I assume I will be paying more as I'm not from here and that's how it works in this country...but paying more to get less...in order for others to get more...no.way.
Never again and please make sure you ask how much it will cost you as I paid more in this place than I did at the marina and Tara plage. ..24.000xaf for a platter of shrimps, 1 water and 1 beer.

This restaurant is located near the beach. So you can enjoy your food while watching the sea waves falling ashore.
I've eaten at this restaurant many times. I've been generally satisfied be the quality of foods served, especially fish. Nonetheless the service may need some improvement such as being more professional.

We stayed here at the Hotel and ate at the restaurant a few times. The service is a bit slow, but the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The view is very nice, either on the beach or on the garden of this quiet hotel.
The food we ate was very nice, we liked it all and it was of good quality (not michelin or top European level, but nice none the less).
The prices can be called Western European prices, in other words, not very cheap... I don't have a lot of experience (yet), but I had thought that in Cameroon it would be a bit less/ lower.....
Overall a nice place to stay and eat, but count more than an hour for a full dinner and take enough money with you.

Etre classé 2 ème ca donne envie de découvrir quand on connaît un peu Kribi et que c'est nouveau. Un seul avis super mais chercher ou le trouver même en demandant aux piroguiers des chutes qui ne connaissaient pas puis faire le tour des chutes pour aller en face en face avec la route défoncée et ne trouver que quatre bouts de bambou et rien a se mettre sous la dent car pas de poisson péché on reste sur sa faim même si on apprécie le caractère exotique de ce coin merveilleux et extraordinaire. On ne dira pas que ca mérite le détour ( des chutes ) pour y déjeuner mais au moins pour la beauté du site vue de ce coté des chutes si vous y arrivez malgré les trous de la route ( 4X4 conseillé)
